Complete and utter lack of situational awareness. You would never see Brady air Manning wasting a down there. The team would get to the line and they’d run a play. Makes me sick.
Would also help if the Turd didn't burn through timeouts earlier almost every game.
If he's smart and really want to win, ask for a trade to Indy. Colts have solid defense, good WRs and a top 5 elite RB. The other plus is he gets to play in a dome. Please go...
The problem is then he will be exposed. He doesn't want that.
At least our #4 didn’t let the clock run out without one last play!
Hell yeah! We may have thrown away 25% of our opportunities to tie the game, but I'm pretty sure that we can bank those 17 seconds left on the clock and use them in a game of our choosing next year. And, if we could have completed that 4th and goal pass to Zay on the 1.5 yard line, we could have used that yardage next year, too.

3-D chess gentlemen, 3-D chess.
... But we never realize this cuz Carr fumbles on a back side hit. Of course your first inclination is to blame Carr for the loss.
About that fumble... our wiz at presnap reads, doesn't seem to notice presnap we've got a backup TE 1 on 1 vs a premier pass rusher, on a pass play. After the snap, doesn't even think to glance that direction for possible trouble. If he had, he may have noticed the wide open receiver streaking across his face. His awareness in the pocket and otherwise leaves much to be desired, as has been the case his entire career. That sack and fumble was 100% on #4.

The contrast between a good QB and a mediocre one shown bright vs the Bengals. Burrow utilizes every bit of the field, every bit of time to make something happen, to create, give his receivers a chance to get open, as per the TD throw in the back of the EZ.

Derek has a clock in his head. No matter the time he has, or wide open spaces to buy more, once that timer goes off, he chucks it somewhere, out of bounds, into the ground, or to somebody not only double covered, but blanketed. Panic mode. Play over. Game over. A good QB wins that game.

To re-sign this guy assures we'll have both feet planted in mediocrity for years to come, no matter what we build around him.

Talking to the guys i work with that are NFL fans today at work they have all said they think Carr needs to be moved on

If the Eagles aren’t sold on Hurts or any QB coming out then maybe that would be a destination for him they got 3 1st this year could also see WFT & the Saints

I’m not sold on Davante Adams would much rather kick the tires on Allen Robinson or Michael Gallup (would love Mike Williams but think Chargers will re-sign him) if they hit FA since you get the same production for more than likely a cheaper price can’t go wasting cap just because Adams is Carr’s buddy well unless Carr wants to take a big discount (25 mil) to get him
you are usually much more eloquent than that, elaborate please. Why do you think so? offseasons always bring a fresh hope in my opinion
we have 25 or so guys on roster who I think we can bring back, but we also have about the same number who are not under contract. Which means we are about to have a lot of turnover. We have the coaches questions to answer, as well as possibly the GM as well. All of this after one of the most sickening seasons away from football in my memory. Are we going to rebuild, retool or try to keep the band together and make another run? And tops of the list is what to do about DC? Do we let him play out his deal, resign him, trade him?

The week leading up to our playoff game was one of the best I have enjoyed about this team in a long long time. I wonder if we are on an upward trajectory or did we see fools gold again. Lot of one score games last year and that is probably not sustainable.

The off season is going to suck because of all those questions and no clear answer at this moment. And we are going to end up having a lot of the same conversations we did this last off season until the plan, if there is a plan, comes into focus.

it's not successful if you keep winning by 3 every time

great team doesn't create 30+ turnovers or needing fg to win everytime

build the defense first then draft a rookie quarterback like the bills, ravens, chargers

gruden really did f[raiders_icon]ck this up badly

the roster is a mess

how many good players do we have beside waller and renfrow, crosby?

we need elite coaching staff and figure this out

no more 1990's pussyball and bland rush 4 defense
Anyone ever notice that all the people complaining about the QB, or the team, or the loss in the playoffs are the same guys that predicted a losing record in the preseason. IMO, if you predicted a sub par season before the season started, you can't complain about a team, or QB, that went 10-7 and lost in a playoff game.. They exceeded your expectations.
Yay here’s a participation trophy for your troubles:
