And to build on my last post, over the years we have hard:
1. He's a rookie.
2. He needs more years in the system.
3. Conversely) he has switched systems
4. He has had too many coaches
5. He needs more time with the same OC.
6. One week/year: his receivers suck (never mind the fact that during the 4 game run they were great!)
7. Its the fault of the Defense!
8. Its too warm.
9. Its too cold.
10. Needs time to acclimate to a new stadium.
Did I miss any?
There’s something in the neighborhood of about 500 more that I’ve heard, and will hear again.
I would take his stats and the clutch throws he’s made over the last month over his big stat games of old that resulted in losses
I trust Rich Gannon’s opinion of our QB & he has denounced those clutch throws as a nothing stat & rightfully so

The offensive line was horrible. The defense only gave up 26 but it was ugly.
The fumble was not on Carr and I prefer an interception to a 4th and game throwaway. He was not 'bad', he was not 'good' either. Mediocre, Average, Milquetoast, w/e you want to call it.
All told, if my math including tonight is correct, Carr has had 5 interceptions and 4 fumbles (3 lost) over our 4 game win streak and playoff run. He was carried to victory. Last minute heroics included - we should not have been in that situation.
Literally a no change in my mind. Worth 18-20 because he has to have so much talent around him to compete. As a High quality Game Manager valued at around 32 - he is trade bait imo.
Burrow is already a better West Coast QB than Carr could ever dream about.
Still expect him to get an extension this offseason. Not happy about that unless it is Case Keenum level cost... hint: it won't be.
2. Even if he was average…his salary is literally middle of the pack lol
That's just not true. He had the 7th highest cap figure this season.
