The tank's running dry but we only have 6 days until there can be real discussion----like how our 4th string QB should be our new starter due to going 3/5 with a TD in the last 5 minutes of the fourth quarter.

The kid is 23yo. Waiting a year isn't something im worrying about.
Id be all for it but whatever they decide. They know more than me.

Yeah, if the OL is good enough to keep Cousins upright and if the D also shows improvement, I'm good.
Hard to tell if the good and bad reports we've been reading about FM are accurate or not so we just don't know about the Raiders future plans yet, and we probably won't know for a while longer.
The regular season can't start soon enough for me.

You can take from this what you will.
That's the feeling I've been getting from updates/reports. Usually you hear something about a #1 QB draft pick at least showing flashes and making some great throws, but we aren't hearing that about him.
Whatever the case, we will find out.

Looks like some growing pains for the kid. If you’re going to make mistakes, better to make them in practice.

Eh. This seems to focus on only the bad. Several reports have been about him throwing dimes and TDs. A couple had him start slow and pick it up throughout practice.
Everyone knew he has to get comfortable under center. Doubt it’s shotgun snaps he’s having issues with

FM has been so hyped by the media as well as the fans that's it's nearly impossible for him to live up to it. As good as he was in college, let's face it, for some to transition that kind of play from college to the NFL.
He was surrounded by a great supporting cast of players and great coaching at Indiana last year so I suppose the question may be "Was he a product of Indiana, or was Indiana a product of him?"

This is a compilation of several articles. The authors began with "these are the challenges" and ended with "here's the good news" and talked about the upside, emphasizing the learning curve. This article leaves that part out.
