Did that same injury not end Tony Romo's career. Yes Romo was older and at the end of his career. But he never played again. Did the same injury end Matt Stoffords season in week 8 in 2019
it was not the same degree of injury, Carr's break was the most easily managed injury of that type. Romo's degree of that injury was far more severe. As was Stafford's
The answer is no it didn’t end romos career. May have been Chucker on here that posted about that. Romo at one point did have that injury and missed a game
correct, and there are levels of this particular break and Carr's was the least severe you can get. Literally he could have played the next week. Other types of this injury are at higher levels but most all of them you can function as normal.

Dear Derek,

Romo even returned to the game after the injury. It was broken vertebrae that ultimately ended Romo's career - a completely different and far more serious injury.
It's surprising that someone who claims vast expertise in evaluating Carr and the myriad of challenges he's faced wouldn't know that already. Maybe disregarding facts is a strategy.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/tony ... r-cowboys/
In 2016 Romo broke vertebrae. In 2014 he had the same transverse process fracture that Carr had. They are different injuries. Obviously the transverse process fractures did not end Romo's career or he wouldn't have still been playing to suffer an actual serious back injury in 2016. Nor did they end Roethlisberger's or other QBs'.

Those never go away, even with surgery which is why he kept aggravating it towards the end of his carreer.
