Any thoughts of trading Maxx for two number 1s and then go get Trey Hendrickson or any other stud that will be a free agent?. Trey isn't Maxx but not bad either. Then use the pick this year for the oline or wide receiver. Go for the total rebuild with Mendoza, Jeanty and Bowers. We could end up with over 120 million in cap space. And that's not counting the NFL yearly cap increase.
Hey Mr Jones, Maxx for #12 and #20.

TWO #1s would be great but I've read a lot saying that for multiple reasons, Maxx may not bring 2 #1s...maybe a #1and a #2.Rabidraider wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 7:18 am Any thoughts of trading Maxx for two number 1s and then go get Trey Hendrickson or any other stud that will be a free agent?. But who knows for sure? Jerry Jones may do something characteristically outrageous by trying to make up for his questionable move to let Parsons go.

I remember there were people on here that wanted to trade our first this year for Hendrickson. Thank God people on here aren't actually calling the shotsRabidraider wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 7:18 am Any thoughts of trading Maxx for two number 1s and then go get Trey Hendrickson or any other stud that will be a free agent?. Two firsts does seem like too much for Maxx, but firsts aren’t created equal and the most likely trade partners would tend to have lower picks. Still don’t think we’d get two of them.raidersince63 wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 7:55 am TWO #1s would be great but I've read a lot saying that for multiple reasons, Maxx may not bring 2 #1s...maybe a #1and a #2.

First, I'm glad The Raiders didn't do that, but second if they had The Raiders wouldn't have the first pick overall.Hellbound wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 8:10 am I remember there were people on here that wanted to trade our first this year for Hendrickson. can you have a better pick than the first overall?RickRyb wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 9:18 am First, I'm glad The Raiders didn't do that, but second if they had The Raiders wouldn't have the first pick overall.

If it's a playoff team or one close enough to be a playoff team, then two first rounders would be appropriate.Jeevo wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 9:11 am Two firsts does seem like too much for Maxx, but firsts aren’t created equal and the most likely trade partners would tend to have lower picks. Of course not. But if anyone is going to play the "what if" game you have to factor in the result of the "what if".

Yeah, like I mentioned earlier, maybe Jerry Jones might cough up multiple 1st round picks because the Cowboys are like a ship adrift at sea with no compass...SF would also make a good fit but like you say, those would also likely be higher #1s in the first round.Jeevo wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 9:11 am Two firsts does seem like too much for Maxx, but firsts aren’t created equal and the most likely trade partners would tend to have lower picks. I guess some teams value veterans more than drafting unproven youngsters. But for more longevity and consistency, I think there should be somewhat of a balance between the 2.

I think many of us felt that this was coming...neither Maxx nor the Raiders have been saying much about the other for the last month or so...seems to me Maxx is as good as gone.
Happy trails.

On one hand the Raiders would be stupid to get rid of Maxx.
On the other they haven't won anything with him.
My vote would be on keeping him unless the Raiders are blown away with an offer.

Confused by “the day it happened” what happened? Was there more to this with more context?

It should be before the draft for sure, I'd have no problem with them trading him. Wonder what he'd get on the market.STHfrontrow wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 2:13 pm On one hand the Raiders would be stupid to get rid of Maxx.
