In the vein of what's cooking with Scotman and Attyla.
As in years past, the 2025 What’s Cookin for Gameday thread. Post each week what you’re having on Gameday, drinks, appetizers etc,
Last year’s turned up some good stuff, so keep these in mind:
* Each week post what you are having for food, aka main dish.
* Appetizers?
* Desert?
* Each week what are you drinking?
* Include what you're having if you're tailgating.
* If you are ordering, what are you ordering?
* Brunch, you name it.

Yep, had plenty of those back in the days when alcohol % per dollar was an important consideration.

Yep, good bang for the ole dollar. I found that they complimented Top Ramen (beef) very well.

Back in the day in South Carolina. It was crazy because it was law that bars had to use mini bottles for drinks. So dollars could add up quick depending on what you drank

Did you try them? Standard fare for hunting trips every year. Weber "Gas go Anywhere", split in half. Been real expensive here last year or so. $4+. I look for the sales and grab a few when they would dip below $2.

Haven’t done them yet. Looks like Costco sells them around $2.80/lb for a 6-pack. Not sure if that’s high or low for those

Most run 24-28 oz that I've seen. So right in the current price range. I split em over direct heat or whole in foil pan low and slow. Rub with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper. 1 is a good serving with 2 small sides or a half per person does work for a smaller appetite. I grew up with them as a staple about once a month for dinner.
