On to the 49ers

This one has the potential to get real ugly, real quick.
Our best hope is for long drives eating clock and shortening the game as much as possible. Of course this could be an issue with the way our running game has been. If ever there was a game for the RBs and the line to jell this would be it.

Cousins is capable of putting up some points. I think Kubiak pulls out a few trick plays and Mendoza gets a few plays to throw a curve at the Niners defense.

The defense needs to take some risks. The four man fronts do not get much pressure. What happened to Leonard running an aggressive defense??? I’d rather go down aggressive and giving up some big plays than to be picked apart mercilessly. At least with some risky aggression there’s an opportunity to create the game changing plays.
Huge underdogs so there’s nothing to lose. Gotta take huge swings.

The fans on their board are annoyingly arrogant about this game, some belligerently so.
On paper they're supposed to beat us easily, but you never know. Our defense has been opportunistic and turnovers could be a factor. Our offense has been consistently great despite no rushing attack.
Having seen more Niner games this year than I'm happy with, one thing I've noticed is the high rate of injuries for both them AND their opponents. They play dirty as hell... hoping for a clean game.

Five Super Bowl victories, 2 of the greatest QBs of all time and a run of current sustained success means they can be.

Usually when the Raiders play a team that supposedly will kill us on paper; they play a good game….
At the moment; the Raider twin TE are having great success moving the ball; and as long as the raiders can keep scoring; then we have a chance….forget about the raiders defense doing anything

If we can hang with the Bills we can make a competitive stand against the 49ers. They are clearly the better team but on any given Sunday...
Defense will need to force some turnovers. We'll see.
