Post Game thread - no moral victories, But…
Don’t believe in moral victories but the Raiders fought till the end.
In years past this team would have folded. It wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t mistake free but we just proved we can go toe to toe with the Chiefs this year.

People blaming going for it on 4th early....morons. So much game left. It was the fumble that killed us....end of story.

I mentioned early in the gameday thread I was nervous and pretty much makes watching us against the chiefs less than fun,but stuck here in Missouri I’ll deal with all day at work, but the die hard fans(not the bandwagon Chiefs fans here) know they snuck out of town with a dub.
I’m pissed because we could have won,but I think back all of the bs we have watched against them and we will be ok.
The holes are apparent against a good team,OL no WR,but hopefully those are coming.

I like Stukes but it’s to fair to question the 25 draft. The 26 draft “appears” promising but the year has to play out. We won’t have the luxury of a rookie quarterback contract for long.CWood24 wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2026 5:02 pm I keep seeing this same narrative, who is to say that is we drafted Boston over Stukes the Chiefs wouldnt have put 50 on us
Stukes is one of the reasons the D has played well so no passing Boston wasnt a bad idea
Easier to find good WR than it is good Safety
But it is all swings & roundabouts
I’m a mark for Kubiak but Spytek needs to show he can draft.

It’s quite possible.WNYRAIDER wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2026 5:05 pm I think spags and a good defense was what made the difference in understanding what cousins may no longer do as well, and to plan accordingly. ....to be clear, I understand completely why cousins is running the offense at this time, and appreciate his efforts, overall, to date, but do understand that he is not prime cousins, and that does make a difference is how that DC and team played our offense today.
I’m not against Fenando starting soon but by the same token cousins is executing well.
The match up next week will be good data point to tell us more.

There is no moral victory.
The better team won.
We have work to as constructed and in the offseason.

You can’t be a team that runs/olay defense then give up points. It was a stupid decision. Yeah the fumble killed us but Kubiak’s decision needs to be called outgrosse gurke wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2026 5:08 pm People blaming going for it on 4th early....morons. So much game left. We lost, but we were in it the entire (Almost) time, it exposed some major weaknesses though in the run defense, but its early on in the season. Even though we lost it was still a good game.

1 We will find out what the Raiders are in the. Ext few weeks after today. We plays the Pats ,Bills and, rams up next. We should be the jets so if we go 3-1 again this team will make the playoffs.
2 Klint got out coached today by Reid. I get wanting to be aggressively and changing the culture but numerous times I said, to myself that we should not being doing that. I don’t like taking point away when you play the Chiefs. You need to learn the feel of the game.
3 the fight of this team. The last few Raiders teams would have rolled over very quickly but they gave themselves a chance.
4 Chief fans were shitting themselves. I had the misfortune to watch a lot of the game with a couple and they were scared! Don’t let them tell you overwise. We had some bad luck and rookie HC mistakes that cost us the game.
5 All we wanted this year was improve. We got that,

Some of you need talked off the edge of the cliff...lol. This team is head and shoulders better than any team we've seen in the last 25 f[raiders_icon]cking years, give or take a year here and there.
Kubiak is also a rookie...... he made rookie mistakes today. Even so, we could have just as easily won this game in spite of those mistakes. He will learn from this game. Sometimes, the greatest achievements come from failure and learning from it.
This team is going to out perform our expectations for this season, IMO. KC isn't going undefeated either.

f[raiders_icon]ck the moral victory talk. We went toe to toe with those motherf[raiders_icon]ckers and didn't back down an inch. I understand why Kubiak took the points off the board and stayed aggressive. I didn't agree with it at the time but he knew that Kansas City is the more talented team and he understood that he needed to take some risks.
Here is the deal. Every f[raiders_icon]cking coach in the AFC West is old enough to be Klint's dad. We are on the rise and those geriatric f[raiders_icon]ckers are in their sunset years.
If we get the running game going we can compete with anyone-PERIOD!
I am proud of my team. I am proud of the Nation and we just put the NFL on notice that the Silver & Black is f[raiders_icon]cking back!

...I just looked, so it is the Patriots before the bills. ...yeah, unfortunately, the new England passing game looks like it might be getting back on track just in time for our game.
