Offense looked good. Defense could use some work. Always good to get a win. Thoughts?

Kirk's second int was a bad throw and all on him. The first one though, I'm not sure if that was his faut or Bech. Live it looked like an overthrow. The replay from behind Kirk made it look like Kirk was expecting Bech to break to the left and he didn't.

I feel like Laulu and Futusaki played really well all things considered. Kirk certainly will be a problem as the season progresses , his arm is cooked, and we definitely have coverage issues but this is still very much a work in progress

Also for all the positives one guy I actually have deep criticism for is Taron Johnson. He played like a fringe vet who took the off-season off. I hope he gets his legs under him but not a good game 1

If Cousins need to bring the team back from a large deficit his arm in the long game just isn't capable.

I think we may see Mendoza sooner than I thought.

#23 in the return game should get a game ball.

Team overall looked good. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come and not just because we played the terrible dolphins lol

Against Willis playing zone made sense. The Dolphins offered a unique challenge in a combination of Willis + Achane along with a pretty sturdy oline. By far the strength of the Dolphins is that combination & it's not a surprise they made a few plays.

My biggest concern going forward is Kirk & being able to make a defense defend the field rather than stack the box. If he's gonna go out there & throw dumb picks you may as well give Mendoza the go also

The Chargers were just handled by a team that won three games last season. We'll see.

Interior D exceeded my expectations. I was expecting a constant parade of RB or Willis flying through the gut for 10+ yard pickups all day long.
