4th in yards says otherwise. Not 10th, not 15th, but 4th.
Carr is not finding the end zone. And I do compare him to Rodgers because his performance in many key areas are on par with Rodgers...but Rodgers can throw for less and get more, that is simply a QB thing. It has nothing to do with the defense, it has to do with seeing the windows and hitting the players in the end zone.
We have a guy out there that is fearless, will go over the middle and catch the ball knowing he is about to be clobbered. We have have outside guys who have size. We have a backup TE who has size and can fight for the ball. We have a RB who can catch and create. These guys have all produced all season, despite the circumstances. We just do not have a QB who can find the end zone.
We also don't have a running game. Jacobs has 1 100 yard game in 2 seasons. He's averaging less than 4 yards per carry. Rogers uses play action a lot, the have a running game that teams fear with Aaron Jones and Dillon. No teams fear Josh Jacobs.
It's a red zone problem. We have a teams that doesn't create turnovers so we dont have as many possessions. Green Bay has created 26 turnovers. WE have created 13, only the Jaguars have created less. 13 extra possessions means a lot of extra points. Extra points means extra touchdowns. Short fields mean easier possessions and it also takes points off the board for the opposition.
true, and it will be at least 5 years....big dollars, lots of dollars guaranteed.
no tag, no release, he is the QB of the future. 35M is about the going rate and he will not give us a big discount. He has a future job that big money can impact his ministry
I think your right about the $35 price tag. If he wins on Sunday night it could approach $40
You will enjoy pissing and moaning over every play you perceived as a wrong. What would you do with your time if not bitching about Carr every waking moment.
My point is that no could have come into the situation and won with the teams Carr had. Every good to elite QB has talent on both sides of the ball. Maybe one year the defense lays an egg and they don't make the playoffs., but nothing like the putrid defenses Carr had to deal with. Here is a stat. that you should enjoy. Dan Marino, Drew Brees and Philip Rivers have never made the playoffs with a team that had a defense that gave up 370 points. 17 seasons, zero playoff appearances. Carr has dealt with that every single season of his career. Three hall of fame caliber QB's. Two of the greatest off all time. And you expect more from Carr?

Then prove it and sign a team friendly contract.

carr need elite players around him to be good
top 10 defense
raiders won't be a good team if carr making 35M a year and poor drafting
Carr is getting resigned fellas, the sooner everyone make peace with it the easier it will be.
I agree he's getting resigned...As far as making peace with it?No FN way......The day he gets resigned is the first time ever I have little interest in watching Raider games every Sunday...Carr is the ultimate kill joy for me and the epitome of anti Raider...His mentality on the field is polar opposite of what Al Davis and the Raiders stood for...IE he's soft as downey and "will to win" isn't in his DNA imo.

p.s. every elite QB has elite talent on both sides of the ball and a pretty good coach too. When they don't fans want to run the QB out of town.

If you do not, that is the problem
You expect the QB of the Raiders to be a top 5 QB of all time. I don't know how old you are but you won't see that in your lifetime. No QB can be expected to live up to that. WE've had one winning season in two decades. We are the worst run franchise in all of sports. QB isn't the problem.
That’s some crazy conspiracy theory shit you got going on there, I don’t know what you guys are doing with your professional email correspondence but I’ve never done anything that would get me “cancelled”
I've worked for D.O.D., The Dept of the Navy, and Industries in Entertainment sectors. You would be shocked at what these f[raiders_icon]ckers email one another. You got CEO's of Studios, and Networks that can't form a coherent sentence on a sixth grade level sending racist emails, and other shit. I had situation where the guys wife came by to surprise him with lunch. He was supposed to be on a presentation and missed it. Pinged his phone because the company has tracking software in case someone snatched his ass. I pinged his assistants phone too, and showed the owner the location. Went to the W hotel in LA where he was hitting his assistant back wall. We towed his company car, then waited for him to come to the hotel counter bitching with his assistant. We retrieved his pass credentials, phone and laptop on spot. Fired his ass, and pulled phone records and emails for both( Yes, companies own all correspondence on their equipment). Let's just say there's some sick f[raiders_icon]cks in the world.
Don't send emails on organization equipment, phones, emails etc. Don't use WiFi of organizations because they own all transmissions. All 32 NFL teams equipment used to conduct business is owned by the NFL. People are human first, and followed closely by dumb as f[raiders_icon]ck second.

He never won 12 games with thelions. Goff was a winner with the Rams taking them to the playoffs three straight years, he even took them to the super Bowl. The Lions have 2 wins this year.
So Carr cannot check to the pass? And the TE I was referring to was his previous TE.
Face it, you can make as many excuses as you want, but when you are 4th in yards but 13th in TDs there is a problem. Especially when the guy 9th in yards is 3rd in TDs. Blame the system if it helps you sleep better at night, but Carr has the best possession receiver in the game and a guy who can catch out of the backfield and a guy who can and does go over the middle and the stats remain the same.
Because, chet, the goal of the game is scoring, not moving the ball between the 20s
When they dont trust carr in the redzone to score and have to bring in the backup QB for gimmick plays, thats a huge red flag.
