Predict the 2026 record - your realistic expectations

With Mendoza needing time to adjust, an unproven O line and what I consider average receivers, I’m not really expecting to light it up on offense.

Defensively, we should be at least middle of the pack. That should go a long ways in helping stack wins.

Having said that, we are improved across the board yet still more work to do. I would predict we have 6 wins this year, double what we had last year. If Pete can manage 3 last year, I have faith with a better coaching staff we can do better. If we can beat the teams we’re supposed to plus staying close in the 4th quarter against better talent, we have a punchers chance in some of those.

Personally, at least another year or two to make some real noise if we nail FA and the draft.

Xramfan wrote: Sat May 23, 2026 9:23 am The Las Vegas Raiders' regular-season win total is set at an Over/Under of 5.5 games. The odds heavily favor the Over at -155, while the Under is priced at +130.
A breakdown of how major sportsbooks are pricing the Raiders' win total:
Over 5.5: -155 (bet $15.50 to win $10) via BetMGM Sportsbook
Under 5.5: +130 (bet $10 to win $13) via BetMGM Sportsbook
I haven't bet/gambled on much of anything in years but maybe I'll check this out. I think Cousins by himself gets us at least two more wins and if our coaching is just competent, that should net us a couple more.

Baltimore's gonna take a huge crap this upcoming season. More and more, the weight of the team's success has fallen on Lamar Jackson. He's past his prime and given his style of play, his window appears to be closing quickly. He had a decent 2025 but threw 21 TDs to 7 picks in 13 games. That ain't great. Combine that with a new coaching staff and the loss of their most important O-lineman (to us, ha-ha) and they look like a 7-8 win team.

ETA: the Texans are harder to figure out. They could win 12 games again, but they may fall off. I'll stay away from that bet.

It’s the :” bet $15.50 to win $10) via BetMGM Sportsbook” that bugs me

I'm in no way a betting man in any way.
All the numbers you all are posting are like Chinese to me.
That being said, I will bet we win more than 5 games this season.

Ironically we were at 6.5 wins before the draft.

That's some weird crap.

Just means they like the drafts of other teams and adjusted.

That seems off considering most media and “anonymous executives/gm” around the league have what we did in our off season amongst the highest rated. Would seem they would adjust it a bit higher or keep it where it was.
Probably a lot like many of us tho in that we want to see proof on the field, not on paper. I totally get it.

I guess you are right, but I thought our draft was much better than 90% of the other teams.

My expectations are pretty low honestly. Any real success this season will be a pleasant surprise for me, but I’ll still spend my hard earned money on Sunday ticket.

I'll be happy if Jeanty regularly doesn't make contact until PAST the line of scrimmage and we don't lead the league in sacks given up.

Exactly!!
Him getting hit as soon as he touched the ball was embarrassing.
Hopefully this year is different.

He took a beating and handled it physically. But I was even more impressed with how well he handled it mentally. To also avoid demoralization and remain upbeat after that disastrous season and situation is a great sign.

Jeanty is going to be impressive this coming season.

Agreed...and I was actually impressed with him last year. When he wasn't getting hammered at or behind the line of scrimmage and made it into the secondary you could just see that the talent was there and he's such a tough runner to bring down one on one.

i think the texan have 8 wins just on defense alone, im taking the over 9.5 wins
raiders over 5.5 wins is a no brainer
bmore under is gonna be a lock, lamar is breaking down already and the defense is a weakness now

100 dollar 3 pick play
