Yeah there is no question that the Raiders have been all in on him for a while. Im sure they will offer whatever he wants. The only question is will he sign. Im sure he has some interest or he would have taken his name off the list and not interviewed before the Superbowl.pfish57 wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 10:39 am At this point in the process Kubiak holds all the cards...doesn't matter what the Raiders want.

I was just in Seattle for a business trip. It was cold af and covered in frost/ice our 2nd day, our rental car was covered in ice and we needed to scrape it. Everyone came home sick.
I think Kubiak and his family would be just fine leaving that place and living in Vegas year round. I mean the summers are hot af but they'd probably afford to have a pretty strong A/C and about 3-4 pools on the property.

I went to school in Portland for a bit and it's just the most gloomy place on earth to live. Just rains, every day. I'm sure his family won't mind moving. Davis is going to offer him a big enough contract to be considered life changing for them. Its not something you pass up.

So he would move to Vegas because it is cold in Seattle? And in Vegas he can have AC? Because there is no way to warm yourself when it is cold outside? And your car gets ice on it, and you have to scrape it off? And you get sick in Seattle? Because sickness happens in Seattle? And that is why he would leave Seattle?FlyBono24 wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 1:36 pm I was just in Seattle for a business trip. I'm reading Benzo is planning on buying Seahawks after the Superbowl for around 6.6 billion. No clue if it would effect KK's mindset.

I don't think it's been reported that Bezos is "planning" anything. It was reported that the Seahawks would be for sale and that Bezos is name suggested as a potential buyer. I doubt it would impact Kubiak's decision.Rabidraider wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 2:06 pm I'm reading Benzo is planning on buying Seahawks after the Superbowl for around 6.6 billion. You are fortunate you live in Canada and not in Seattle. It gets cold as f[raiders_icon]ck in Seattle, and there is ice and sickness.chucker wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 2:15 pm I don't think it's been reported that Bezos is "planning" anything. Heat wave right now here in Western NY, we're up to 15 degrees. No winds so it feels warm /sarcasm. All kidding aside Thursday AM it was -1 where I was with windchill it was -14.Hellbound wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 8:33 am To be honest with ya, sitting here in west Michigan in single digit temps and nearly 3ft of snow, that sounds like paradise right now!

Well, at least no ice, because that is a Seattle thing. And scraping ice. And apparently AC only happens in Vegas. And 3-4 pools.Willmark wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 2:28 pm Heat wave right now here in Western NY, we're up to 15 degrees. No winds so it feels warm /sarcasm. But no 3-4 pools. If you live in Seattle you have to settle for just 1 pool.
