Predict the 2026 record - your realistic expectations

Unread post by Viper »

With Mendoza needing time to adjust, an unproven O line and what I consider average receivers, I’m not really expecting to light it up on offense.

Defensively, we should be at least middle of the pack. That should go a long ways in helping stack wins.

Having said that, we are improved across the board yet still more work to do. I would predict we have 6 wins this year, double what we had last year. If Pete can manage 3 last year, I have faith with a better coaching staff we can do better. If we can beat the teams we’re supposed to plus staying close in the 4th quarter against better talent, we have a punchers chance in some of those.

Personally, at least another year or two to make some real noise if we nail FA and the draft.

I honestly believe the Raiders can end up being the most improved team in the NFL this year.

That’s not much of a prediction, we were the worst team in the league last year…

Well, being the "most improved" team would mean we improved more than most of the other 31 teams, right?

Actually it would mean, we improved more that any other team. Which I think we will be the most improved, but with that said, we still might be picking in the top 5 or 10 next year.

That's exactly what it means. Says a lot about credibility of the poster that is saying otherwise. But most of us are not surprised.

lol...Semantics?...really? Not sure why we're splitting hairs here or the odd obsession. My original statement stands, "I honestly believe the Raiders can end up being the most improved team in the NFL this year."

The Raiders will be an improve team this year; but the bookmakers are not fans; they are actually in the money making business and they are giving the raiders only 5.5 games over/under….Kubiak has got a bye this season; meaning if the Raiders go 4-13 he still going to coach the next season and I think it be actually good thing if the raiders had a bad records so they can get another top three pick….

I love Ravens under 11.5, and as hard as it is to say this I think I may get some of Dallas over 9.5.

That's when it became a regular thing. Prior to that there were games on Sunday night once in a great while. It's the same thing with Thursday night. It'd happen maybe once a season (besides Thanksgiving) but it didn't become a regular thing until 2006 and even then it was only 8 games. Now we get to watch two tired teams battle it out for who is less exhausted every week.

The Las Vegas Raiders' regular-season win total is set at an Over/Under of 5.5 games. The odds heavily favor the Over at -155, while the Under is priced at +130.
A breakdown of how major sportsbooks are pricing the Raiders' win total:
Over 5.5: -155 (bet $15.50 to win $10) via BetMGM Sportsbook
Under 5.5: +130 (bet $10 to win $13) via BetMGM Sportsbook
