The Divisional Round games
This weekend's games are all easy picks for me when it comes to rooting interest...... I'm not torn between two teams in any of them where I don't mind either team or I hate both teams.
I want the Bills to destroy the Broncos - for obvious reasons. I think almost every Raider fan does, with the exception of some weirdos who live in Bills country and hate them with a passion. The Bills have so many injuries, but they do have the superpower of a Josh Allen who can make ridiculous plays if it comes down to it.
I want the Niners to beat the Seahawks. That's probably not a popular view among Raider fans, but I've never had the disdain for the Niners that a Bay Area Raider fan would have and I still hate the AFC West Seahawks. The Niners also have so many injuries, I don't know how they get it done.
I would love to see the Texans smash the Pats. Maybe as a result of a CJ Stroud fumble that's overturned by replay and then called an incomplete pass due to some obscure rule. Stroud looks awful right now, if they don't keep him clean then he'll have multiple turnovers again.
Then the weekend can get capped off by the Rams routing the Bears, with Mike Lefleur screaming "f[raiders_icon]ck the Bears" in support of his bro.

Stroud is choking this one away. I am so f[raiders_icon]cking tired of the Patriots. Yes, I am envious of their resilience but I am f[raiders_icon]cking tired of seeing them in the post season. I was hoping they would disappear for like a decade.

I said the same thing when all my Buckeye fan friends wanted him for the Browns. Has there ever been a successful QB from Ohio State in the NFL? If there has, I don't recall who it was.

Nope unless you consider Art Schlicter's ability to pass a bad check.Dr Death wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 1:43 pm I said the same thing when all my Buckeye fan friends wanted him for the Browns. Has there ever been a successful QB from Ohio State in the NFL? If there has, I don't recall who it was.

Tomczak is one. Schlichter would have been had he stayed out of trouble.Dr Death wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 1:43 pm I said the same thing when all my Buckeye fan friends wanted him for the Browns. Has there ever been a successful QB from Ohio State in the NFL? If there has, I don't recall who it was.

Holy crap, that takes me back. I wanted a CB radio so bad when I was 10 and had a record that taught the associated lingo. I have no idea who I thought I was going to talk to, or why I couldn't just call them on the phone, but I was obsessed about getting one.

My old man had one, and he had a ham radio. He would talk to random people, but he was boring as hell so he had a hard time keeping conversations going. He was brilliant, just no social skills.srv5490 wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 2:03 pm Holy crap, that takes me back. Leaving your rookie left tackle whose struggled 1 on 1 vs Anderson or Hunter on ANY passing snap is negligence. I told my buddy, both of these offenses need a 6th linemen or a TE chipping off the blind side every passing snap. Just get some practice in with that essentially, because it's going to be needed in Denver

Well not for nothing but Henderson completely whiffed on helping Campbell out on that one strip sack.Goodtimes333 wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 2:17 pm Leaving your rookie left tackle whose struggled 1 on 1 vs Anderson or Hunter on ANY passing snap is negligence.
