a few are rooting against him. Most just want to win. Some think replacing him is the answer. The same answer this organization has repeatedly employed for decades. And the results speak for themselves.
There’s more to it than wins and losses imo. I mean let’s be honest - it’s not as if the expectations were all that high for wins coming into the year.
It’s the eye test and the nuance that I think has turned most of the fan base so vehemently against McDaniels. The team just looks like a total mess right now.
You’ve got an offence that is not only statistically horrible in almost every way imaginable - but just looks lifeless.
You’ve got the play calling that is frustratingly predictable to the point our own players are calling it out. Apparently defences are routinely calling our plays. Run formations out of 21 or 22 personnel every single 1st down. You get Adams 4 targets on the 1st drive… doesn’t see another one until basically the 4th quarter.
You’ve got these no-balls, head scratching game management decisions every week that just underpin the idea that our coach has no clue. These aren’t even questionable… they just make no sense. Ie kicking a field goal down 8 late in a game. Getting a 3rd down stop just after the 2 min warning of the 1st half (with 3 timeouts) - doesn’t take a time out. Or the decision to start Hoyer and the utterly idiotic response afterwards for why.
it’s not the record. It’s the tape and the decisions being made

The funny thing is this we have kind of hit the lower threshold of wins most if us expected
Most of us though 3-6 wins he’d keep his job then we could get our QB of the future & build next year
The biggest issue is we thought the offence would be firing on all cylinders & the D would be our problem. Instead the offence had be flat which for me piles more pressure on McD being that it is his speciality
Do i think we should move on from what i’ve seen most probably but on the other hand i’f like to see us turn away from our past mistake of constantly turning over coaches & players which it the real crux of our yearly issues

From Big Al slippin’ to the dick in the dirt boy wonder. They did/do the hiring. Big Al got old. No one escapes Father Time. Mark though is just a loser. He’ll always be a loser, rich or not. And because of him, the Raiders have been losers too.

Was listening to Moe today online. And he said that the current offense is in the bottom 10 in every category for raiders history. And considering what we pay out in offense and that's our coaches specialty. I personally think he needs to go. These are his players that he picked. Neglected the defense to get.

It's rare the hot property coordinator actually turns out to be a good HC. Most of the time it's sombody nobody is really talking about going into the interviews that turns out to be the best.
I want a HC that's a great leader, creative and is QB friendly.
I'll keep Zig if he'll turn his back to the pats way of doing things. If not get sombody else in.
I don't want to keep ripping everything up. I would keep Patrick Graham. Just invest into the defense. Stud DT and CB please!!

There is no way Z lives through this mess (obvious package deal with Josh). Get them the f[raiders_icon]ck out of here ASAP. I think there are some package deals (GM and Coach) that might work out. I would go with Halaby and Johnson of the Eagles. The Eagles have the best front office in football.

Our QB sucks. Period. It was stupid when we signed him and even more stupid when we signed Hoyer. I am tired of the churn of head coaches. It is the same crap we have always done. How has that worked out?
Until we get a QB we can count on it doesn't matter who the HC is. JM would be beloved if we had Allen, Hurts, Jackson, Mahomes, Tua, Herbert, Cousins, I could go on.
Sell our soul for Maye and give Josh a year with him.
Fire him and I would bet anything we will hire the worst possible option available because that is all who will want to sign here. Someone desperate. We have nothing in place a HC would look at and think, "I can work with this."

I would go with a young up and coming QB. That would be a big draw.
The Oakland Alameda County Colosseum was a dump, and we still had coaches wanting to coach the Raiders of all different types.

At least with McDaniels he’ll probably get the rest of the year (good or bad) but at the same time… him staying around next year should be based on improvement as opposed to status quo.
In terms of next head coach though - head coach jobs are highly sought after regardless of the team. I’m not a believer that teams have a hard time finding someone to take the job. Usually the vacancies are other bad teams and while you may not always get the top candidate there’s certainly talent out there that would jump at the opportunity.

The Raiders head coaching job is likely one of the more desirable jobs in the league. Top notch facilities, great location, iconic team, and an owner that’s not overly meddling and pretty supportive of his guys.

I would also add ample cap space and draft picks with which to build/rebuild.
