The part that scared me was "he just moved his family to the Northwest"

Schefter said today he’s taking a HC job.

A 5/$75 M deal will offset moving costs.

Yeah. Just having fun with the way these people talk. He may or he may but also he might.

Nothing either scares, nor surprises me after all these years.

But, If I'm putting my reputation and ass on the line...are the Raiders with their history of the HC turnstiles....your lock?

Pretty sure if Kubes is willing to take the gig....the paycheck will be top 5 in the NFL ranks.

Webb said no to the HCing spot, is there a chance he becomes our OC?

I wouldn't think so.

I would think if he takes an OC job it'll be one where he calls plays. He's not doing that with Payton and he won't with kubiak. And that was the knock on him this year according to the press

I can't see the new HC hiring someone who wanted his job and wanted to be the HC himself.

If Kubiak is hired, he brings with him some of his Seattle coaches. For example Harbough is taking several coaches to the Giants. Monkin is taking the ravens o-line coach with him to the Browns

Although Jim Schwartz had a top 4 def in Cleveland, last year, he was passed over by Browns ownership for Monkin. I’d love to see him come to Vegas. Would help Kubiak in countless ways

Corleone wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 11:35 am My memory could be a little off but pretty sure this is why: we interviewed KK during the Seahawks bye week. At that point we hadn’t satisfied the Rooney rule so an agreement would have been a violation. The next time we are allowed to speak to him is during this week, which is set for Saturday. In order to abide by league rules, we can unofficially agree this Saturday.

I believe the Cards are involved for optics.
