This dope a few weeks back was saying the Raiders shouldn't draft this kid, because the teams not good enough.

He doesn't really believe what he's saying. Bad attention is probably more profitable than good attention.

Tonight's draft begins with the second pick for all practical purposes so attempts to drum up drama is understandable although not to be taken seriously.

Get this guy signed up and get things rolling.

It's been to long since the Raiders had a good QB. Good chance he's the one.

The good thing is we know Brady will exhaust every avenue to ensure that Mendoza has all the tools to succeed.

I was actually a bit concerned thinking, perhaps Brady wouldn't really, truly, get deeply involved with him. A passive "I was around town so I gave you advice" mentor just doesn't really help that much.

But hearing Mendoza say that Brady committed to being hard on him and mentoring him full-send was very encouraging to hear.

Yeah I don't get that vibe, even Kubiak has said that he has been on the phone a lot with Brady.

PREACH!!!......People have short memories and buy into players without any substance! This kid is an UNKNOWN in the NFL, let's all just take a deep breath and SEE what happens!

Sorry but this dude just doesn't look like a proto-typical Raider. Just like Marc Wilson and others. No toughness. Weird smile.....hard pass!....

We get it. Marinovich had red flags before being drafted. This kid has none. I'm not about to take that attitude.... this time. There is no reason to think this kid won't be anything other than a solid QB... at the very least. Nothing/no one is a given in the NFL but, this kid is as close to it as you're going to get...IMO.

He’s gonna be the toughest QB we’ve had since Gannon.
