Yea I wouldn't suggest Maxx had any part in this. Really he's getting the brunt end of it. It's ironic though that if he ends up staying he will have gotten exactly what he wanted...which in my mind wasn't competing for any team, but competing for this team. His numbers coming back onto the books pushes us closer to the cap than we have ever been in his tenure. For years we would give ourselves a $30 mill cushion while he demanded we make a better effort to win. With Mendoza and this FA class we clearly are. If he swallows his pride, he'll have more talent around him than he's ever had. Curious if any team that is still in play could offer something similar. Dallas's defense isn't necessarily in a better position after the tampering period.

For those who think that Maxx Crosby still gets traded, here’s a little news that #Buki found out, unless he’s traded by midnight tonight his 2027 salary becomes guaranteed, zero chance Spytek trades him absorbing $30,000,000 cap hit…Maxx Crosby will be a Raider for at least the next two seasons maybe for life now

Whoever that guy is doesn't understand how it works. The 2027 cap hit becomes guaranteed, but that guarantee would get traded along with Crosby and become the responsibility of the destination team. Crosby having guaranteed money in 2027 has no impact on anything. His 2026 salary is guaranteed and 2027 was always going to get guaranteed anyway. Zero issues.

Hope you doing well Mr Bass; you were a regular poster at another raider forum that we use to used that went under…

Since the Ravens pulled out of this deal; it kinda make you think Max might be kinda worse off than anybody saying….I can live with Max staying a raider; but I think he really need to listen to the coaches and start playing less football….he got stop wanting to be in every defensive play and actually give his body rest time and when a game is over like the raiders losing 35-14 and starting the 4th quarter; just sit him out for rest of the game and save him for next week….
