Who is comparing O'Connell to Mahomes, Allen or Stafford. I don't see anyone doing that. O'Connell will be the third string QB and rightfully so, if he makes the team. A third stringer who makes 3.8M is not a good move for any team. I don't want to be the team that pays the third string QB the most in the league, just like I don't think the Cowboys were making the best move when they made their kicker the highest paid in the league. I want to pay those guys middle to lower middle rates.

We need to make moves that successful teams make in this regard. Pay the talent that plays high and pay ST guys and bench warmers low. And the argument that it is "not my money" is not going to fly. The business aspect of the NFL matters

The Raiders will address AOC's future when they feel it is necessary, and for the umpteenth time, his contract is negotiable. I doubt management is losing sleep over it right now,...that only happens on message boards.

There's like 58 QB's that could fit this bill, its super hard rating this years QB's, so lets drop this year and we're at 48 possible QB's, some already gone from the league.

AOC being at 12 is something.
Yeah he's not good enough, but it seems around 35 QB's have done worse.
If we didn't have Brady to throw out there, it seems mid-late round QB's are just wasted picks. Like 1 in a 100.
