- Says they expect Klint to meet with one of these teams
- A lot of talk on Klint/Raiders and how they both have him circled as a guy to watch there and just good positive vibes on how the Raiders view him for the job.
- Didn't talk about Cards and Klint, but mentioned LaFleur, Morris and Weaver (like someone said above) and said they are waiting around and she expects an answer very soon actually.

I know the HC needs to get done first before we think about coordinators, but I came across an interesting bit of info that I wonder might give us an edge in luring Kubiak away from Seattle.

Our current pass game coordinator Joe Woods has a working relationship with Kubiak. Dennis Allen was calling the defense in New Orleans, but Woods was the DC. The defense was bad that year, but the wheels came off on an organizational level that year for everyone involved.

Woods has had a top 5 defense with two different teams. And out of his 7 years as a DC has only had two objectively bad ones. Might be the perfect DC candidate as both Kubiak and the current players on defense are familiar with him.

I was thinking the same thing. I know that Schwartz is the name that gets the most discussion for DC, but with our DBs I think we'd have disastrous results with Schwartz.

Time for a change, but his unit was constantly given less and performed better than the offense. Best of luck to him.

They actually kept us in a lot of games we had no business being in with the offensive play.

Clearly Webb is not the first choice or he would have been announced as the HC so it points to Kubiak being their guy. Just haven’t hope they can close the deal.

I felt the same way about him that I felt about Telesco last year: If he stays, he stays. If he goes, no great loss. Could do better, could do worse.

It sure feels like there's gonna be nothing to talk about until Saturday is over. I can't even whine. How will I fill my day?

I think its a done deal that we have Kubiak lined up. I said prior that no noise is good. I will add that goes for the hiring of coordinators as well. It seems there is no rush right not and the team is letting Kubiak get his guy. If Webb (who I like) was the guy, he would have already been signed. Furthermore, coordinators would be more critical for Webb because we would need someone who has been around the block a few times (and maybe HC experience to boot).
