No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.

Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

steph diggs is still performing very well

...smh. "missed the rest of the year"?...lol, he played 17 games

Diggs was 15th in yards, 64th in TDs, 58th in YPC...yet you think those are really WR1 numbers.

And again, how is Diggs a difference maker for Raiders team who will not be a contender for a year or two anyway? The Raiders are rebuilding, Diggs is old, and you don't rebuild for the future by signing old players who are on the back end of their career.

So you want an old, costly, imperfect player on a rebuilding team? To what end? He is a me me me guy who is not going to benefit anyone. Next year is a toss away season, you don't bring in old receivers who cannot find the endzone into that situation. The Pats threw him a ton of money only to kick him to the curb as quickly as they could. If they could not make it work, why would we bother trying?

last time i looked the pats made it to the super bowl and diggs caught 85 outta 102 targets from drake maye using him as a route runner/chain mover type wr on a run heavy offense...sure the pats moved on and upgraded at the wr position with younger player but diggs played very well in that system

plus look at the patsies team last yr, similar to the raiders this yr and they took a chance on diggs and it worked out well

the patriots were in teh same boat as the raider this yr and they took the chance on diggs and it worked out very well for em (young rebuilding team full of question marks everywhere)...guess what they made it to the super bowl

Regardless, I'm done.

Dude, we are not even close to where the Patriots were. They had a down year the year before because of coaching. We had a down year this year because we sucked. And Diggs is not the reason they went to the dance. He has never been as good as the hype and basically disappeared in the playoffs. Just stop, we are not signing a guy who has been kicked off some very good teams. If he were worth it, Buffalo would not have dropped him like a hot potato.

the pats r the raiders this yr...they were a rebuilding team just like us...had running game and tight end but missing a wr1, they took the chance and it paid off all the way to the super bowl...they moved on and improved at wr1 and 2 to go get a ring this yr...raiderfan wants to throw a yr or 2 away and not address a huge need at wr1

not even close, he is not a guy to rebuild around, he was not the reason they got there and he is not going to get us any further down the road. The Patriots were far far better than their record the year before, that shit coaching staff destroyed them. We also had a shit coaching staff but we had far less talent than the Patriots before Vrabel.

2024 pats 4 wins
2025 raiders 3 wins

2024 pats coaching sucked 2025 hired vrabel
2025 raiders coaching sucked 2026 hired kubiak

pats in a rebuilding yr took the chance on diggs and paid him well, diggs performed well for em on the way to a super bowl

ps when was the last time buffalo won anything or went to the super bowl

It's like arguing with a bowling ball. Record means exactly dick. The quality of the players is what matters and you cannot win the argument if you base it on that so you argue with record. The Patriots were not rebuilding in 2024, they had a suck the life out of you coach.

Did I say great? No, I said better. And if you cannot see that, I cannot help you.

That's the bottom line he is just arguing to argue. He doesn't believe half this stuff just gets bored IMO.

so...not better/greater talent 2024 (pats) vs then the raiders 2025
similar situations
new hc,staff,rebuild oline,defense
while adding diggs as their wr1 vs us without a wr1
