I saw a graph the other day that shows every teams net profit.

It then showed what % of the profits go to player salaries.

That is where the major discrepancies lay. I don’t have it in front of me but I think LA spends roughly 80% on payroll while many teams spend much less of a percentage. It’s clear many owners are in it for the profit while others are in it to win.

A cap is meaningless without a floor.

Bob Nutting won't spend money unless a league mandates obliges him to do so.

I don't blame the Dodgers; they want to win.

my opinion is this is a huge issue for baseball. They gotta send a message to get this cleaned up
