Game Day Thread, Raiders Visit Foxboro
Mild temps and a chance of rain/wind as our Raiders travel east.
Raiders are +3.5 and the over/under is 44.5.
On tap, my vegetable soup and crusty bread. I will enjoy a local brew called Rhinodart and if you can find it I highly recommend it.
With the spread, the oddsmakers have us just a tiny bit worse than the most recent AFC Champions.
Gonna be a fun one. Enjoy the game.

That hurts when you can’t capitalize on a turnover on the opponents side of the field. No bueno

Well, our run-blocking is bad. As you guys can see and have said, they are going to come at Cousins as much as they can to protect their weakened D-backfield. Short passing is the way to go, a la Joe Montana. I would give more carries to Washington if Jeanty is just going to be an average back, injured or not.
This game will not be won unless Kubiak and the O-line coach figure it out.

Tucker had him beat, a good throw would have been a TD. Mahomes threw for 1st down over the top on that 3rd dow blitz last week. I think Kirk just didn’t want to throw a pic on that one and was throwing it out of bounds.Reno Hightower wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 11:19 am They will be blitzing us all day until we can beat it.

Time to throw that End Around play into the trash. Has it worked once? I know it's resulted in a couple huge losses.

Definitely inconsistent. Hopefully we can adjust after the half.Raidersman321 wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 11:21 am Naturally we can't capitalize on a turnover. There's some really awful play calling by Kubiak lately.

They are just out and up beating us. Matchups are terrible today.Arsenal Raider wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 11:20 am I don't understand how we can't scheme against the blitz. We know it's coming and can't do anything about it...

Jeanty was never a great pick. He’s not that level of RB, and he never was.
For a 6th overall pick, you are looking for LaDainian Tomlinson level, Adrian Peterson level, etc.
He’s nowhere near as explosive or shifty enough to have ever warranted being picked that high.
He’s a guy you like if you pick later in the draft.

Okay, so we need WR, DT, DE, and G. And probably a CB and S.
Should be doable.

Everyone in the NFL apparently has a perfect screen except us. We don't run them. Amazing stupid ass franchise.

Did this team really just get to New England yesterday?
If so, this ass dragging performance makes sense.

Not capitalizing on that turnover was brutal.
