Predict the 2026 record - your realistic expectations

With Mendoza needing time to adjust, an unproven O line and what I consider average receivers, I’m not really expecting to light it up on offense.

Defensively, we should be at least middle of the pack. That should go a long ways in helping stack wins.

Having said that, we are improved across the board yet still more work to do. I would predict we have 6 wins this year, double what we had last year. If Pete can manage 3 last year, I have faith with a better coaching staff we can do better. If we can beat the teams we’re supposed to plus staying close in the 4th quarter against better talent, we have a punchers chance in some of those.

Personally, at least another year or two to make some real noise if we nail FA and the draft.

I know that but Charb was in his 3rd year. Washington still has some flaws to work out.

washington is gonna be the big back of the 2 just like charbs, we already know what happened to walker once they drafted charbs a near 50/50 split for 2 yrs

If it’s a 50-50 split then we are wasting Jeanty. I can see a 70-30 to keep them both fresh and a change of pace but I don’t believe they’re equal backs.
I mean, nobody was ever considering drafting Washington in the first round, let alone 1.6.
I will agree he will be used more in short yardage tho, he’s nowhere near close to taking that many snaps away from our number one RB.

65/35 this yr, next yr itll be closer to 50/50 like charbs did to walker but washington will take away short and goal line carries imo

no, there is no way that Jeanty is on the field for 50% of the snaps. He is an elite athlete and we need to utilize him to his max workload. Not every down but 70% of the time it needs to be the Jeanty show.

I see they gave the Bolts a D, but I thought they did a pretty good job.

Raiders had nowhere to go but up and getting your franchise QB helps that grade.

Off season grades from a blogger. And the blogger is likely a Raiders fan

It said via (SI), which I wouldn't believe either.

ah, my bad, I don't value off season grades enough to actually click on the post. The year that the Eagles got Aso, they got nothing but praise for their offseason moves. Yup, that aged well.

Rich was one of the best quarterbacks in Raiders history, but Rich did not tell whomever changed the Raiders Super Bowl gameplan from running the f[raiders_icon]cking ball down the bucs throats, which would have won the Raiders their 4 Lombardi trophy. I wish he would have told them all "f[raiders_icon]ck You I'm going to call plays that are going to win us this game. Let's see if any of you coaching motherf[raiders_icon]ckers has guts enough to replace me at QB during the super bowl."

Of course that pre supposes that Gannon would have been smart enough to know that running the ball at the bucs with our massive Oline was the key to victory in that super bowl.
Fu*king A RIGHT!

BoKnows81 wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 11:10 am It will not be very close to 50/50. Washington will need to show much better in pass protection and holding on to the football before it gets remotely that close. If he gets 30% as a rookie, that's heavy involvement. But this won't be a Walker/Charb type split, at least right away.
I'm not sure they even know, I'm sure they have their ideal situation. But it is going to be based on production, if Jeanty is killing it and anyone else that comes in doesn't, they will go with what is working. If everyone if eating well, then you'll get the committee and then we won't need to sign Jeanty to another contract.

I could see it breaking down 20 for Jeanty 10 for Washington. And maybe 5 for hemby depending on how the game is going
