2026 Draft - First Round - Thurs.4/23 - 5/8 pm

Unread post by RunOverByHubbard »

99% chance the Raiders start things off with doing what we all want them to do. Less than a 1% chance they trade the pick? Yep. There will be some interesting trades in the first round, including a possibility our new management trades up into the first round using the "extra" picks we have this year. But, I am expecting an evening of observing and anticipating rounds 2 & 3 tomorrow night.

Enjoy one of the best sports events of the year -- the NFL draft.

Man, Blake Miller went earlier than every single mock draft simulator out there had him.

Supposedly when we pick in the 2nd there was Miller, Pregnon, Bisontis, Iheanchor.

Banks was a big no go for me. Not with those foot injuries, especially so close together. And at his size very real possibility that he keeps having foot issues going forward.

At Pick 21 teams need to decide a run on WR or the best DTs.

We're 16 picks away

All the big boards I follow had him being picked around pick 20. None of them were below 25.

I mentioned that to someone today. I wouldn't touch him before the fourth Rd because as big linc says. You can't make the club in the tub

I’m with ya. Going off that history he just doesn’t have the bone strength to support all that weight and power.

Definitely fair to be worried. His talent & potential were just out weighing that for me. He's top half of the first round talent at DT. So if team doctors signed off on him, I would have taken the risk. If those other players were taken already. I would have take them ahead of him if available

That’s why I said, “so Eagles”. He’s got the whiff of a headcase/diva. They’ve got Brown causing trouble, who’ll probably be traded to the Pats, so there’ll be a vacancy for malcontent WR.
