Been to many concerts when I was younger. Never thought I’d say this but I went to see Elton John about 6-7 years ago and I can honestly say it was the best.
Saw Elton twice, once with Billie Joel, Elton puts on a helluva show. Neil Diamond, just a fantastic performer. I got freebie tickets to see Cher with Cindy Lauper and enjoyed myself. Ringo Starr? Just a fun night. My guilty pleasures have become my pleasures. I have a wide swath of tastes in music, everything from 60s psychedelic to classic Elvis even some disco, music evolves and until the early 90s I evolved with it. But at some point the music disappeared into streaming and I lost interest.

A favorite of mine too. I'm a big fan of Sad Wings of Destiny.
Saints in Hell
Hero's End
Halford and Tipton
Sublime. What else is there to say?

Since we are all confessing..........I was vacationing with a friends family in Lake Tahoe when I was in junior high. His parents took all of us for a dinner and a show. I ate lobster for the first time and watched some goofy dressed guy playing a piano like a madman. His name was Liberace. Actually a great show and he was damn funny between songs.
OK, time to crank some Nugent or Maiden to bring me back

That group was awesome; they were the best in the business ….surprised they never got back together for another album…think it was more to do with that Ginger Baker and EC just did not get along….
Going back to Cream, EC was the peacemaker. Bruce and Baker were always going hammer and tongs.

One of Baker's beefs with Bruce was that Bruce set his 2 Marshall 4x12 stacks right next to the drum kit. Marshalls back in the day usually ran 100 watts (Blackmore allegedly had a 200 watt head) and had no master volume and it was drowning Baker's playing out. (not to mention his hearing)

I thought it was because he didnt believe that Baker was technically proficient and his drumming kept throwing him off.

Did you ever hear rumors of Bruce joining LZ? That would have been something if true. A 2nd singer with his airy voice and a totally different style. And Jones playing organ. Then again, that could have created a great deal of havoc.

I saw Crosby, Stills and Nash about thirty years ago at the Gorge, great concert maybe my favorite. I also saw Gun & Roses at the same venue in 2017 and they didn't disappoint. Basically Axyl gave er hell for three hours straight. I think he stopped for a second about half way through and chugged some Valvoline and didn't look back. Impressive performance.
The Gorge is a great venue but the lineups were better when The House of Blues was running it. New ownership group hasn't impressed me which sucks considering the location.
We aint beating the Giants.

Lol has any game been more obvious that both teams were tanking. I bet Roger isn’t happy. I’m trying to remember a time when the 2 worst records met this late in the season, this one game is for the 1st pick.
I won’t be surprised if Jeanty pulls a hammy in warm ups.
