I don't really understand the Flores talk. Everyone's complaining about the Belichick tree and/or Patriot way and this guy comes from it also. Wouldn't it be more of the same?
Flores had success outside the Bellichek tree
Young Head coaches with experience who have won games & built teams don’t come around that often
I also like his background as he came through the Pats scouting department before becoming a coach for them, little things like that for me matter
His problems weren’t because of his coaching or not winning they were because he wanted HIS QB but ended up with what the GM & Owner wanted
I don't think he is that entrenched in the good ole boy system. He doesn't have a band to get back together. He had the Dolphins D looking incredible. He is his own man. And the fact that he wanted Herbert over Tui tells me that he had a vision that could bode well with the opportunity to draft a franchise QB high. Flores with Maye? Sign me up. But I would still rather go someone like Callahan.
I don't want that Zack Taylor scheme anywhere near this team. The only reason it works as well as it does is because of the star power they have.
I like the idea of Ben Johnson with Drake Maye. But I could be talked into a bunch of different options

Same goes for any OC or DC under a HC that controls there side of the ball because we’ve seen these types of hirings fail time & time again

Anyways, the offense took off once Johnson became the OC and all the local sports stations/ media give Johnson all the credit. Also just watch a Lions game and you'll see Campbell isn't involved in the play calling
Bisaccia os so overrated if he is that hood pf aHC why hasn't he gotten a HC gig, he lucked out on playing good teams devastated by Covid
He is way overrated on this board as a coach
I'm hesitant to bring up "reading comprehension."
I said I want that TYPE of coach as long as they're able to assemble a competent staff. I even listed his name after the other two because he never really was a head coach.
For the record, I don't want Bisaccia back. I just want someone with the character and leadership qualities of guys like Saleh, Campbell, and Bisaccia. Someone the guys will bleed for.
Not looking for trouble at all, just don't want my posts being misrepresented. Your comment has validity, but also has almost nothing to do with what I wrote.
