Thought when Geno got hurt in the game; that Pickett would finish the game for Raiders….not really sure if that would be a good thing or bad thing if Pickett stay in the game; but we will never know what would happen if he stay in….
Truth is there are three first round QBs in the 2026 draft who will probably go 1,2 and 3….and the raiders really need to draft a QB….

Yea, but.... none of them are true 1st rd. picks. I'd rather use the 1st pick on BPA or O/D line and take a QB or two later.SuperRaider wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 2:40 am Thought when Geno got hurt in the game; that Pickett would finish the game for Raiders….not really sure if that would be a good thing or bad thing if Pickett stay in the game; but we will never know what would happen if he stay in….

You dont hink Mendoza is a 1st round pick? Ty Simpson? If those guys come out, along with Dante Moore, they will all go in the 1st round. Surely you know that. Jaxon Dart wasnt a 1st round pick this time last year either. Just saying.Dr Death wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 5:32 am Yea, but.... none of them are true 1st rd. picks. Geno Smith underwhelms in 2025? Kyler Murray in 2026?Corleone wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 6:21 pm Kyler Murray looks like he could be the next disappointment in silver and black.

We need to get a QB and build around the QB….
Geno is not the QB we need keep…need to move and start fresh….

That's the unfortunate reality. I understand the desire to get a great QB, but if the guy isn't there, he isn't there. If you're hungry but all there is horse manure, then there's nothing to eat.Dr Death wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 5:32 am Yea, but.... none of them are true 1st rd. picks. Take a chance on a guy in the 2nd or third round. Even then though, we still need O-line. We have some young guys who with experience might pan out, but we also need OT pretty damn badly. We'll be in position to draft one of the top OTs in the next draft, so let's do that. A strong young O-line can take any team a long way.

Yeah you got a great point on that; Jaxson Dart is pretty damn goodBoKnows81 wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 6:16 am You dont hink Mendoza is a 1st round pick? Ty Simpson? It's not a desire to get a great QB. It's a necessity. Until this team takes legitimate early shots on QBs, they will forever be behind.Opoponax50 wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 9:30 am That's the unfortunate reality. I think all three are first round QB's. I don't think they are game changers though. That is the difference. I want us to take a shot, just a smart shot. Moore has more to offer from the standpoint of upside than the other two and if pressed to take one I would opt for him. There is a risk with that but you have to take those risks from time to time.BoKnows81 wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 6:16 am You dont hink Mendoza is a 1st round pick? Ty Simpson? I did this for Carr, time for Geno:
The Autumn Wind
The Autumn Wind is a Geno
Interceptions from sea to sea,
With a rollicking turnover, he sweeps along,
Swearing demonstratively.
His face is oh so beaten.
He leads an offense to crash,
With a silver hat about his head,
And a really bad mustache.
He ponders as he storms the turf,
A turnover machine big and bold.
And the OCs all shake and quiver and quake,
As he leaves their game plans in the cold.
The Autumn Wind is a cast off QB,
Losing just for fun.
He'll knock you round; hopes upside down,
And laugh when he’s lost more than won.
