He's a free agent next off season. I really don't expect them to bring him backKillerRaider30 wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2026 5:13 pm I understand hes #3 today. Every one does.
There's Cousins and Mendoza and then AOC.
Im talking about next year when Cousins is gone.
Can he be a solid #2? Or does he have no chance.

Is it your take that he had nothing to do with the drive?Hellbound wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2026 6:14 pm So he handed the ball to someone and the other player scored the actual td. Count two more less tds he was responsible for

you implied that he was solely responsible for 62 points in one game. My take is that directly responsible for 4 td passes. Other teammates scored the other tds. Im not sure what your take is. One post you say he's a backup, the next you're making him sound like he's starting materialKillerRaider30 wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2026 6:33 pm Is it your take that he had nothing to do with the drive?

He doesn't move or make adjustments to the rush.
Its like he has cement shoes.
Everyone see's it.
Let the coaching staff evaluate him this year and they can decide if he's #2 material. My guess will be no.

The Chargers had quit on Staley before that game had even started. Just sayin.KillerRaider30 wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2026 10:46 am We site the game where aoc didn't complete a pass for 3 quarters but why not site the game where he put up 62 on the Chargers?

I was wondering if anyone would bring that up. That game was a joke. The entire D running 3/4 speed. Getting Staley out the door. Look at the highlights the receiver is 10 yards past the D on many plays. That game carries as much weight as a preseason game.Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2026 6:03 pm The Chargers had quit on Staley before that game had even started. Just sayin.

Our 3rd string QB, what a riveting and compelling topic. SMH.
Edit: useful board preference enabled...seems to work really well...thanx to whoever created it, win/win.

Let's talk Vince Evans or Scott Dreisbach. Maybe Billy Joe Hobert but he wasn't in town long enough for a cup of coffee. Cotton Davidson? Mike Rae? Tee Martin even wore the laundry once upon a time.
However, on a more serious note, discussions about the depth of our QB room is a pertinent topic, especially considering who we will be drafting.
Tomorrow is another day, the day, and will give us more important matters to discuss. RN4L!

He’s a FA so he could leave to go somewhere else. Coaches could want him back or not want him back. He could want too much money. No idea if he’s our n2 next year.KillerRaider30 wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2026 5:13 pm I understand hes #3 today. Every one does.

Having said that, if he needed to enter a close game, I wouldn’t immediately think F U C K time to change the channel cause this is over. It would need to be a team effort though. If we’re up, I’d feel cautiously optimistic that we’re holding onto that. If we’re losing, I’d assume we’re likely going to still lose. Anyone expecting more than that for QB2 is tripping.
