[Sir Raider Duck, OMS]

We could do worse than bringing Olson back as QB Coach.

[Attyla]

We could do worse than bringing Olson back as QB Coach.

We can do better as well. Look, I like Greg, he stuck with us through some pretty shitty times. But we have put together what looks like a pretty exciting staff of proven winners. Let's continue that trend and bring in a guy who reflect the direction Kubiak is going with another younger guy from a winning tradition.

[DanKD]

You want a young qb coach who can be groomed to be the next oc

Mcvay and Shanahan always have the next guy ready when their oc gets poached.

[chucker]

Kubiak is still adding to the staff:

[Goodtimes333]

Light resume. Assistant oline coach for the Falcons in 2022. A few years as a defensive assistant. Interesting

[chucker]

He's worked on offense and defense before. From the Jags website:

Jeberaeel spent the 2024 season as assistant outside linebackers coach. With Jeberaeel's assistance, third-year DE Travon Walker set career highs in tackles (61), tackles for loss (13), sacks (10.5) and forced fumbles (two). Walker's 10.5 sacks were tied-eighth in the AFC in 2024. DE Josh Hines-Allen produced 8.0 sacks, making the Jaguars one of five teams in the AFC with two players with 8.0-plus sacks. Per Next Gen Stats, the Jaguars were the only team in 2024 with two pass rushers with over 60 quarterback pressures, Hines-Allen contributing 67 and Walker contributing 60.

Jeberaeel came to Jacksonville after three years with the Atlanta Falcons. In 2023, he served as the Falcons' special projects (defense) coach. In 2022, he was the assistant offensive line coach, and a diversity coaching intern/offensive line coach in 2021.

In 2023, the Falcons' defense ranked third in third-down conversions, fourth in red zone efficiency and 11th in yards per game. Atlanta's defense also tied for the second-most forced fumbles in the NFL (18). The Falcons defense produced 42.0 sacks in 2023, doubling their 2022 total. Atlanta surpassed 40.0 sacks for the first time since 2004.

In 2022, Jeberaeel assisted with an offensive line that produced the third-ranked rushing attack in the NFL (159.9 yards per game) and the second-most rushing yards in franchise history (2,718). G Chris Lindstrom was named Second-Team All-Pro.

From 2018-20, Jeberaeel served as the offensive line coach at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. In his first season as offensive line coach, the Wildcats led the Southland conference in fewest sacks allowed, while T Dakota Laws and C Bill Weber each received Second-Team All-Conference honors.

In 2019, Jeberaeel assisted with the offensive line of the Green Bay Packers as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Internship during phase two and phase three of OTAs.

Jeberaeel spent three seasons (2015-17) coaching at the University of Kansas, beginning as an offensive graduate assistant and assistant offensive line coach from 2015-16 before being promoted to quality control coach in 2017. During his time in Lawrence, he coached the offensive line, tight ends and fullbacks.

He spent three seasons at Nicholls State University from 2010-12, starting as an offensive graduate assistant and assistant offensive line coach before being promoted to offensive line coach in his final season in 2012. He also spent two seasons (2013-14) at the University of Arkansas-Monticello where he served as the offensive line, tight ends and fullbacks coach, as well as the recruiting and strength coordinator.

He began his coaching career at Western High School in Las Vegas while also serving as a volunteer assistant at his alma mater, UNLV, in 2009.

A native of Las Vegas, Nev., Jeberaeel earned a bachelor's degree in university studies from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas where he played on the Rebels' offensive line from 2004-08. He and his wife, Abbey, have three children: Louisa, Samuel and Margaret.

Grooming future coaches?

[DanKD]

Yeah they probably liked his mind and see future potential

[Cruisin with Tooz]

What is a diversity coaching intern?

[Sir Raider Duck, OMS]

I assume this guy will also fill the role of Assistant OL Coach (whether or not he has that title).

All we're lacking at this point is the QB Coach.

[DanKD]

Theyre waiting on Shane Falco

[chucker]

Did Jordan Traylor get interviewed/hired for QB coach?

[raider_kin]

Theyre waiting on Shane Falco

Oh man, that gal of his. Think I need to post a pic of her in Mark's Barbershop

Edit: couldn't find a good pic of her but holy f**k, that movie is 26 years old! What?

[DanKD]

Did Jordan Traylor get interviewed/hired for QB coach?

Said he was staying in Minnesota
