Anything leaked regarding The Raiders interview with Webb today? Or is this something that will go into the night?

Webb 30 years old.
Spytek 45 years old. (Seniority between the two. That’s a good thing.)
OC and DC, who Webb chooses.
Brady as sage advice and making sure our calls get received.
Doofus as the bank. It’s what he can do.

I want us to draft Mendoza and grow into a legitimate professional WINNING football team.

I want Webb and Spytek still there to replace Mendoza because he eventually retires after a HOF career.

*speak it into existence.

It was reported that the interview was going to be tonight, so they might have just started. And I'd expect, and hope, that there will be no leaks. We will get some information at some point if the team requests a second interview because that has to go through the league office.

Yep, any leaks is a bad sign at this stage, that an agent is trying to get some traction with other teams.

After everything ive read last couple of days I'd be beside myself if we could nab Webb. I could care less if he needs a bit of seasoning. Better to take a chance before he becomes the next Ben Johnson than to wait until everyone is trying to hire him. Seems like pairing him with Mendoza would be a dream scenario for both who are seemingly football addicts. Webb seems like someone, from what ive researched, that would actually love the process of turning this woeful franchise around. Maybe I'm just drinking the Kool-aid but damn we deserve some things to go our way...

A week a good no one of the board knew Webb. Now he is the man we must have even over John Harbaugh or Kevin Stefanski.

Of course people are.like, we might need to be patient. He may just need a few years to learn. BS. If we start off next year 1 and 4 these same people will be screaming for his head and the fire Webb thread will be posted.

If he come in he needs to win and win now. I could live with whoever our new coach is winning five or six games next season. I doubt many will actually be OK with that. You can say it now, but when the season starts. . .?

3 guys from the two best teams record wise and another with ties to Reid.

3 offensive minded and 1 defensive.

Seems like most of the time these coaches get hired about mid January unless it's someone who makes a deep run and then they don't get hired until February...

From what I'm reading he sounds like a good QB guru. Not sure about making him a Head Coach right away though.

Maybe the plan is hire Kubiak as HC, then "recommend" that he takes on Webb as his OC/QB Coach. Hell, give him the "Assistant to the HC" title if he wants it.

I think you've said that you watch a lot of bills due to your girlfriend being a fan, and I do as well, in part, over the years for the same reason, but also because I live in western new your, and the games are always on. ...I used to hate the bills during the Kelly days, but have since become more interested, more likely due to appreciating Allen, but also, in this community, it is hard to avoid. ...all of that having been said, I couldn't agree more on Brady, at this time, as a potential hc candidate.

Yes. She grew up on that area. So every week we watch the raiders and bills. I feel for her because McDermott is wasting Allen’s prime years. They need a coaching and maybe even GM swap.

I had read about Webb last year and he's already had a hc interview last year so he's on the radar. Just because the media hasn't talked him up doesn't mean he's not a legit candidate

Attyla wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 11:42 am Yep, that is why I asked you. It is his decision whether to interview for this screwed up team knowing there is a good chance you are gone after one to two years. So it is 8 years and 93M bucks or a couple years at 20ish mil. So I asked are you walking on that deal to go to this mess? Me personally, I am staying at Indiana, where I just got Mendoza's replacement and where his kid brother is also waiting in the wings.
I’m taking the couple years for about half as much, guaranteed of course. If he rights the ship he stands to be the coach that could turn this franchise around and the potential to double what he signed for at Indiana. Statue building stuff.

What makes him a legit candidate ? The fact that he has never been an offensive coordinator and has never called the plays for an NFL game ? Thats the guy you want to entrust with Bringing Mendoza along and developing him ? So what will you say when we are 1 - 5 next season, blame it on Mark Davis ? hell Even Kubiak is high Risk with only this year being successful as an OC. Again I'll ask, what makes him a Legitimate candidate besides one guys tweet ?
