Carr is somewhere between Alex Smith and Sam Darnold in trade value. No team is gonna give up a 1st for him.
Carr is second in the NFL in yards this season. Has a high completion rate, low INT rate.

someone would give up a lot for that production. Doesn't matter though, Carr is here to stay

I too think we’ll re-sign Carr, but I don’t see the organization signing him to a deal that will handcuff the organization. Carr shouldn’t have said he won’t play anywhere else, it cost him leverage in negotiations.

Here are the scenarios that likely will happen. This is predicated on us keeping him on his current contract next year.

1. Carr resigns with the Raiders, to me and a few others this is a very high likelihood.

2. Carr retires rather than gets traded somewhere he doesn’t want to go (low likelihood IMO).

3. Raiders cut him and he becomes a FA; don’t see this happening at all, Raiders will try to get something for him.

4. Carr accepts a trade. This is possible despite what he has said publicly. If enough money is offered?

Now this is duh info right? The point is some of these are more likely than others. #1 and #4 are the ones I personally think are most likely.

A first and a second in 2 years. We should be able to get that (especially that future picks lose a round via present day value), Let's load up on the picks in 2 years. I am not a fan of the QB's for this draft. Let's put ourselves in position to grab the #1 QB in the 23 draft.

All it takes is two teams interested and the price gets driven up. Raiders should be able to get a 1st for Carr at the very least.
still think we are resiging Carr this off season, 5 year deal 35M per
While crazier things have happened so I can see it happening I cannot rationalize it.

Not a reason in the world to do any such thing unless it is finagling a sign and trade deal.

He started the 1st quarter, got injured, and didn't finish the 1st quarter or return.

Carr is worth double whatever Wentz was worth.

I have said it before, as have many, this offseason the Raiders need to trade Carr. They will find a buyer who will give up draft capital.

Raiders need to use that draft capital to find his replacement.

The thread title is just like all those emails for "$50k settlement waiting for you" and the emails for penis enlargement that, in my experience, are scams. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me 73 times, shame on me.
