Game Day Thread: Raiders try to rebound vs. the sinking Rams

Will Stafford regain his footing or will the Raiders bring enough heat on him to cause the Rams to fall further behind in the NFC West? It’s a good test for the Raiders to see if we can take it to a team more injured than we are.

I think we will and we will get close to 100 rushing yards. Raiders 27, Rams 23.

Right? Has that ever been done?

Terrible 1st half. Blocking is horrible, no run game again and the Def has no answers and can’t tackle. Add in a missed field goal …..

This would be the perfect time to put Mendoza in, let him have a half playing against most likely prevent to get him ready for his first start next week.

I like this 22 setup. Washington, Jeanty, Bowers, Mayer. Put our best players on the field and se what happens. Anything at this point.

Yeah Brady’s boy gave him a defensive roster equivalent to the 85 bears

Been a fan since 67-68. I don’t post much or complain about the team because no one that can change things listens to this board.

I have hope for this team but it looks to me like the defense has no clue the last 4 games. Maybe Rob Leonard is in over his head. KK is making rookie head coaching mistakes that need to be corrected. Listening to Jonathan Vilma announce this game and he is pointing out things that the coach should pick up on.

Hopefully we see Mendoza soon.

Non game day thread hyper emotional response but rather a calm perspective:

Raiders seem to be regressing. This time of year I’m expecting to see improvements regardless of record. I expect to see this team appearing better coached each week. I expect to see the trenches on both sides to appear to be gelling better than the beginning g of the year. I’m witnessing the opposite.

The Raiders came out flat, look lost and I’m questioning even Kibiaks play calling. I don’t think Bowers was thrown to until late in the second quarter.

Lastly, this is a perfect time to put in Mendo. This game is seemingly lost so he isn’t pressured to win but he will face a real defense not playing prevent yet. Let’s see what he can do. The rams have shut Cousins completely down.

Anyone at the game, which Raider QB is warming up?
