At least, we would have Civil War jokes.

Aidan is what he is. Nothing spectacular but also not the steaming pile of excrement that Smith has become. He has had some quality starts and has a career passer rating of 85.1. He will never put it together for a complete season but is ok out of the pen.BoKnows81 wrote: Sun Oct 26, 2025 1:53 pm AO12 is definitely a train wreck. He's nowhere near a solid backup. He just may look that way to some on this team only.
But I think you're kinda proving part of my point that bc he plays for us, you don't think he is a steaming pile of shit. It's like a mirage.ToastPatterson wrote: Sun Oct 26, 2025 2:33 pm Aidan is what he is. Nothing spectacular but also not the steaming pile of excrement that Smith has become. Want to be reminded of a train wreck? Watch Kyle Boller's week 7 effort against Kansas City in 2011.
I think the fact that Smith keeps getting the ball is less of an indictment on Aidan's ability rather Pete trying to stay the course with the veteran QB.BoKnows81 wrote: Sun Oct 26, 2025 3:11 pm But I think you're kinda proving part of my point that bc he plays for us, you don't think he is a steaming pile of shit. Personally I think he is exactly that. A steaming pile of shit that isn't worth a roster spot.
Aidan is hurt dude. He's not even a consideration.ToastPatterson wrote: Sun Oct 26, 2025 3:15 pm I think the fact that Smith keeps getting the ball is less of an indictment on Aidan's ability rather Pete trying to stay the course with the veteran QB.
Not debating that Aidan is not a quality NFL starter but he fills a role. My opinion.
He is and you are correct. My bad. Pretty pathetic that I have more or less checked out.
It's all good man. We can agree to disagree on Aidan. I respect your opinion.ToastPatterson wrote: Sun Oct 26, 2025 3:38 pm He is and you are correct. My bad. Pretty pathetic that I have more or less checked out.
He did have a good game vs the Chiefs, in KC. He’s the better option right now, and that’s scary.BoKnows81 wrote: Sun Oct 26, 2025 3:11 pm But I think you're kinda proving part of my point that bc he plays for us, you don't think he is a steaming pile of shit. It's like a mirage.

His recovery is just about over. It's been 2 months since the injury.
Right. But if you were following our discussion, Aidan hasn't been a consideration to take over for Geno bc he's been hurt. The OP was not aware of that.erickench wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 4:31 am His recovery is just about over. It's been 2 months since the injury.
Which game was a good game?Oaktown Superman wrote: Sun Oct 26, 2025 6:59 pm He did have a good game vs the Chiefs, in KC. He’s the better option right now, and that’s scary.
2024 at KC. Lost 19-17.
Game of his life. Unfortunately, he fumbled at the end of the game when we were setting up for a game winning FG. Good numbers, but ended up blowing the game.Oaktown Superman wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 7:08 am 2024 at KC. Lost 19-17.
23-35 340 yards 2 TD 0 INT 116.4 rating
It looked to me like JPJ snapped the football before he was expecting it. But who knows what really happened? Did AOC forget the snap count? Or was it JPJ? Either way, it’s the Raiders doing (typical) Raiders things.RI RAIDER wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 8:00 am Game of his life.
