Top is Russ, middle is Fields, bottom is our boy.
Could make the case that he was already the worst, just depends what you prioritize from your QB, but if he's better, it's definitely not by much.
Here's Sam Darnolds stats btw:

He's the guy I wanted us to sign

Brady already eliminated him from consideration. Vikings fans tell me they miss Darnold

I liked the Geno aquisition at the time but I was definitely wrong. He sucks this year. Darnold would have been better for sure though he probably isnt nearly as good under chip and this line.Corleone wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 3:14 pm image.png

Darnold dodged a bullet. We would be talking about trading him for picks right now along side Maxx

No way. He's 7 years younger than Geno and we would have our 3rd round pick back. That matters. Also, if it was 100% our line that is the problem (its only half now bc Geno is the other half and Darnold is a better QB), we would have time to fix it with Darnold at the helm.Attyla wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 3:35 pm Darnold dodged a bullet. we would have time to fix the line? We drafted guys in the third round that are rotting on the bench. Darnold would be deadBoKnows81 wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 3:47 pm No way. We would be seeing the Darnold of the last two games of last season behind this lineAttyla wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 3:52 pm we would have time to fix the line? We drafted guys in the third round that are rotting on the bench. Darnold would be dead

And even in those 2 bad games, he threw over 400 yards and just 1 INT. Those were the bad games.Hellbound wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 5:09 pm We would be seeing the Darnold of the last two games of last season behind this line
We’d kill for that production from Geno.- These users gave a High Five to the author Corleone for the post:

The ironic level is this shit will culminate in Geno being just good enough to f[raiders_icon]ck us out of us out of MendozaCorleone wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 5:21 pm And even in those 2 bad games, he threw over 400 yards and just 1 INT. Those were the bad games.

I don’t think he’s snapping out of it, I think Geno is done. We’ve seen it countless times, old vets get their last pay day from the Raiders and mail it in. I don’t think we win another game with this QB. Cleveland will be the biggest test for a 2 win season.Attyla wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 5:25 pm The ironic level is this shit will culminate in Geno being just good enough to fck us out of us out of Mendoza

He also had a 43% completion percentage in one game and took 11 sacks in both. Given the choice I'd take Darnold over Geno but I don't think it's ultimately would matter given the the state of this offense we're seeing. Ironically we'd get the Jets Darnold just like we're getting the Jets GenoCorleone wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 5:21 pm And even in those 2 bad games, he threw over 400 yards and just 1 INT. And that (bolded) is due to the one thing that never changes.LayneStaley wrote: Mon Oct 20, 2025 2:47 pm
A long time. We used to get guys everyone thought were done and get a few more good to excellent years out of them. Now we trade for or sign guys and they automatically get worse. I don’t think Mahomes would succeed here.
I believe it’s the constant coaching turnover and constant misses at the top half of the draft.

Because of that dumb f[raiders_icon]ck we are one of the very few guarantees in professional sports…we will suck. Hope has no place here.

So few places on Earth really, where hope can literally go to die. This is one of those places.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 5:57 pm And that (bolded) is due to the one thing that never changes.

LoveJeanty's truth bomb. Being objective about a problem is the first step in fixing a problem.
