It's true certain teams would pay up for Carr and it would only take one to do that.

I think the bigger question which Cowherd doesn't answer is who would replace Carr? Is Mariota a viable option while a rookie sits on the Bench? Worked for the Chargers.

How about the Lions? They have future extra 1st rd picks but their season was over week 5 this year. But Stafford wasn't taking that team to the SB or would he be much better for that team this year?

How about the Jets? Could've gotten a boat load for that 2nd overall pick but have some slight promise in Zach Wilson.

How about the Giants with their situation in D Jones. Been trying to make it work with that top 5 pick QB for 3 years but nada.

Baltimore got rid of their long term SB wining QB after realizing it wasn't working anymore and drafted a QB nobody seemed to value high. That has worked out well for them.

Miami doesn't know what to do with their top 5 QB pick. Seems their sticking with him for now but also seems like they would dump him for Carr/Watson.

Would the Saints come calling for Carr? They haven't drafted a QB high in years and Sean Payton might be able to work wonders with Carr.

Wentz went for a 1 and 3. Yes it was a conditional 2nd but that condition was snap %… so basically a 1st with some insurance for injury.

Stafford went for 2 1sts, a 3rd and Goff.

Carrs value probably falls somewhere between Wentz and stafford.

I caught 5 minutes of his radio show today and he said if you put Carr on the Giants, they would be a playoff team, blaming the Giants problems on Daniel Jones. Cowherd really likes Carr and thinks the Raiders never surrounded him with enough talent/defense.
