it is hard to say not being inside the walls. A culture change does not always mean the culture was bad. In this case, Kubiak is a different kind of coach so they may have deemed that while the culture was not bad, it did not fit. We just don't know.Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 12:36 pm So now you guys are admitting culture was part of the problem and was at least part of the driving force?

Not that a mix of cultures can't work but Kubiak and Mendoza do seem to have a different style to Maxx.Attyla wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 1:42 pm it is hard to say not being inside the walls. Its possible prior coaching staffs and Davis gave Maxx too much freedom an power and he'd have a hard adjusting while on the Raiders

The Oakland Raiders are officially rebranded as the Las Vegas team.
Maxx Crosby would knock you around and upside down, and laugh when he's conquered and won.
The Las Vegas Raiders are not part of the Autumn Wind anymore.
I spent my entire life watching the Oakland Raiders, gonna spend the rest of my days watching the Las Vegas Raiders.
Things are different, feels weird, I'm optimistically excited yet my heart aches while remembering the past.
I'm gonna miss Maxx ... With a rollicking song, he sweeps along,
Swaggering boisterously.

I hate indoor stadiums and the fake torch needs to go. that was a ridiculously stupid idea, and it just looks embarrassingly cheesy.......like an electric fireplace.
...though at least with the indoor stadium, the real grass helps to make it seem less like a gymnasium.

Without the dome September games would be 115 degrees....WNYRAIDER wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 3:44 pm I hate indoor stadiums and the fake torch needs to go. that was a ridiculously stupid idea, and it just looks embarrassingly cheesy.......like an electric fireplace.

...I've been to raiders / bills games in single digit temps, and I am sure, significantly less, with wind chills, and in packed stadiums, and one of those times, the crowd started cheering at seemingly nothing, and then it because apparent that they were cheering at a group of about maybe 8 babes in raiders bikinis in the corner end zone area dancing about for probably a good 3-4 minutes, before security made them put their coats back on.Rabidraider wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 4:09 pm It still f[raiders_icon]cking 115 degrees in Vegas in September....lol

....while I understand that many in some other parts of the country might be less 'hearty than western new yorkers, green bay, or other areas, I can also appreciate the fact that the new bills stadium is also not a dome.
...all of that said, it is one of the reasons I 'wasn't a fan' of the new location, but it is what it is, and while I could give 2 shts if some 'get barbecued', at least they went all out to have a grass field, as the open stadium, below sea level, all black unis and in the stands was what brought me here in the first place, a half century or so ago....

Meanwhile, us? Hmm -5 (-15 with windchill) and 2 feet of snow in 12 hours? To the wife: "Ok truck is in 4WD, what else you need from the store?"

Was at a raiders Titans game about 5 years ago in Tennessee. The heat was brutal. While I loved the game I wouldn't go to multiple games in that heat.WNYRAIDER wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 4:39 pm ...I've been to raiders / bills games in single digit temps, and I am sure, significantly less, with wind chills, and in packed stadiums, and one of those times, the crowd started cheering at seemingly nothing, and then it because apparent that they were cheering at a group of about maybe 8 babes in raiders bikinis in the corner end zone area dancing about for probably a good 3-4 minutes, before security made them put their coats back on.

.....yeah, I know we'll take some heat for it, and if we do, it is all your fault, but it just seems like the hearty folks are more so 'up north'.

And yeah, it gets below 50 here and I'm in 3 layers, a jacket, sock hat and gloves.

I mean I get it. We talked about it earlier with Chucker. They get something like 24 feet of snow (near a ski resort) and we get 2 feet. But there is snow and then there is SNOW.WNYRAIDER wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 4:46 pm .....yeah, I know we'll take some heat for it, and if we do, it is all your fault, but it just seems like the hearty folks are more so 'up north'.
At work we have a contest going for how long before the snow pile in the parking lot melts. This year was damn impressive in terms of height.
