Yes little Derk is back to playing video games now…you know he’s as happy as a pig in mud on the inside.
Wow is this 1000% spot on.
The brothers finger pointing will attempt to keep the masses at bay while Derek doesn't have to worry about playing a playoff team on the road. Got paid a tidy sum too! He is in hog heaven now.
I wonder how the Saint's fans feel about his play today. I remember many years of Raiders riding high into next season because of him playing exactly like he did today, thinking there could be hope after all. Then it would all come crushing down within the first few weeks. Year after year. Can't believe we had to suffer through 9 years of that!
Over on Canal Street Chronicles they can't stand him.
Derek played his usual 4 good games on the year, what's unusual though, is he finally saved a good one for January. Now he can't be blamed. Not his fault. He's got the system down now. Next year is gonna be EPIC!
Likely a new OC, new system next year. So next year is just a transition year with no expectations. Keep your eyes on 2025 when he starts to learn the system.

Word is the turf in the dome is being replaced in 2025 and will take at least a year for him to acclimate to it.

They are much like when he was here, he had his champions and he had his detractors. Most seem to think his play overall was disappointing but there are those who make claims like "his wide receivers were lacking" etc. Those are the fans who want them to trade up and get a blue chip receiver for him. There are also calls for him to get a better upgrade at TE. Sounds familiar to me

Saints are grasping at straws after giving him a contract they can't move on from.

On one of the Saints forums? It's just like reading this site over the last 5 years of so once the season is over. So many "he just needs (X)!" Insert excuse for X.
I dont think ive ever seen a player have such a hold over people, its Jim Jones level of cult.

I think that is why she is neurotic to this day.

And, of course, Josh is still "cherry picking" DC stats.

So Carr said it took him 5 weeks to get on board with his new team
3-2 to start the season
6-6 after he got on board with his new team
Averaged 20 points a game in those 6 losses
In those losses
Texans 11th in points allowed
Jags 17th in points allowed
Vikes 14th in points allowed
Falcons 18th in points allowed
Lions 23rd in points allowed
Rams 19th in points allowed
Not one top 10 defense in points allowed
And he cannot blame the defense, the Saints D allowed the 8th fewest points last year. Saints were 8th in time of possession, which means their D was on the field less on average than most teams in the NFL.
So, and I know the answer, was it ever the defense that kept holding us back or was it a combination of things INCLUDING the QB?
But you can't hold a whole Raiders organization responsible for the behavior of a single, sick twisted individual. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the entire NFL? And if the NFL is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of sports in general? I put it to you, Greg - isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to the fans, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America.

A whole new system!
My dog ate the playbook!
It's COLD in January!
I have small hands!
It's a TEAM game!
Nobody LOVES the [insert team] like I do!
It's SIMPLE MATH!!!
