The Seahawks are contenders since they got rid of Geno, and thats after trading Metcalf as well. I think Geno can still turn it around but it has to happen this game.

It's kind of funny the defense was supposed to be the weak link by far and the reality has been the complete opposite. The defense hasn't been great but it's been good enough that the Raiders should probably be at least 3-3 or even 4-2 if the offense and special teams wasn't so bad.

If ST knew how to block for a fg, we would be 3-3

I don't know I have never seen such an easy name spelled wrong so often. Right up there with people calling someone looser than loser. Kind of takes the sting off the insult

I didn't think Geno was quite this bad..... he is. The O line sucks, but................

If Geno can't improve over the next few games, he needs to go. This is just another typical Raiders season... regardless of coaching or players.

Who the f[raiders_icon]ck cuts their hair like that? I wouldn’t trust anything someone with that haircut said.

ToastPatterson wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 6:33 pm So if Geno were playing this bad and were winning would we all say that he isn't pretty but is getting the job done. Just win baby?

Like Al used to say to Jimmy Plunkett; "It's not important that you play well, it's important that we win."

I realize we are not exactly winning but it could have gone either way in the Chicago game. If we beat the Chefs game then the entire tenor of this discussion changes considerably.
Winning is all that matters but there’s a sustainability issue with winning in spite of your QB - especially if you don’t have a top tier roster nearly everywhere else. Therein lies the problem - we don’t have a particularly good rushing attack or defence and special teams might be worse then either.

When you’re getting your doors blown off by quality opponents and pull out a W by just looking less bad then maybe the worst team in the league… it’s hard to see that translating to many more W’s unless we can play the Titans 10 more times.

For those wondering (assuming I’m reading it right).

Cutting Geno next year is a 18.5 mil hit whether it’s pre or post June 1st as it’s the unpaid portion of signing bonus.

We save or better to say avoid 8 million post June 1st.

That is my understanding. We get 8M in cap and we have 18.5M in dead money

Just let Geno finish out the season. If AOC gets healthy enough, he still won't win us enough games for a playoff spot. Also, Bowers is out indefinitely. We may not see him much for the rest of the season.

Build the team. Get everyone on the same page. If Geno throws 30 picks, then so be it. I'm fed the f**k up with stupid-ass temporary bandaids at every level of this organization. Do something, stick with it, and deal with the pain.
