I submit to you all people are the same.
People are People

We the fans know its time for Carr to go as does the players on the team but thell never say it.

To me its clear now Derek Carr is not a leader of men. He throws up some stats and stuff but he does NOT possess the IT factor needed to win consistently in the NFL.

That's that
Three turnovers that weren't his fault. Pass pro was shit. Josh Jacobs looked slow (probably weighed down by his massive sperm count). The D collapsed and gave up by the end of the first quarter.

There were no series of open receivers he missed that would've made a difference in the game. No bad reads or poorly thrown balls to open WRs.

OTOH: 9 points. If his teammates play poorly, Carr is going to play poorly. In the NFL, the QB position simply isn't one where you get to perform at the level of the rest of the team. You are always The Man.

I've thought New Orleans would be a good place for him too. It's a team with a good coaching staff that can develop personnel and already has a group of good players. Carr could play an important role in winning games there. For N.O., if they can't land Rodgers or Wilson, Carr is a good option because if Payton can keep him at his ceiling on a regular basis, then there's enough football smarts and personnel who could, under the right circumstances, go deep in the playoffs.

If he stays here, then he would have to play for like $8 million a year. That's what he's worth to us because this team needs the money at other positions and we can get the same performance out of a rookie that we're getting out of Carr (17 points or less in about half our games).

Getting an elite QB is a sheer stroke of luck. We can't count on that. This team needs to go a different direction entirely.
KC has been charmed for past decade with good QB leadership and play from Alex Smith and Mahomes. Both lead them to winning seasons and playoffs and eventually Superbowl.

Chargers were relevant and made playoffs with Rivers for years and it's looking like Herbert is going to take them to playoffs as a 2nd year starter.

Why do the football gods hate Raiders!

Here’s something Carr can hang his hat on.

We are 13 games into the season and he has a longer run (22 yards) than any of Josh Jacobs’ or Kenyan Drake’s runs for the entire year.

For the record Jacobs had a tweet that seemed to indicate it wasn't true. But if it is WTF. He's suffered his entire life being homeless etc. now he wants to just give all his $$ away in child support?? Josh use the OL as an example. They don't protect you running. Wear a condom....

(edit) I'll just put this here since David & Derek like to mouth off. I've been seeing a few tweets on twitter about Zae Jones brother going off. Anyone have his tweets?...

When we finally get a real QB with courage and field vision, it will be like we woke up from a bad dream. The change will be night and day.

So both our QBs have the longest runs this season, more than any RB on the roster. Hahaha

Meanwhile Derrick Gore busts a 51 yard touchdown on us as the RB3 for the Chiefs.

Watching Rodgers play, good lord, so much better than the guy we continue to march out year after year.

Mahomes and this guy....

If Denver gets Rodgers, Wilson or Watson we'll be a last place team for years. They are better than us now w a QB worse than Carr...
