Offense looked good. Defense could use some work. Always good to get a win. Thoughts?

Great post couldn't agree more. I love seeing us staying aggressive on both sides to close it out. Definitely need to do a better job of executing that, but the intent is very much a breath of fresh air for sure.Raidermofojeff wrote: Wed Sep 16, 2026 7:17 pm I like a lot hearing Kubiak talking about and holding to account that the Offense under achieved in the 4rth quarter. I agree the offense should be able to close out games like that.. Credit to defense though... Too much celebration in the past for lucky wins...Not to say the Raiders have ever had much in the way of luck.... and I'm not saying this win was lucky, just that the Offense should of finished it...
Always hated getting conservative at the end of games offensively and counting on defense to win games... prevent defense etc
Sure, the door opened up for him because of his name and experience with his dad. However, he did actually work under coaches other than his dad. Unlike the Belichick sons...raidersince63 wrote: Wed Sep 16, 2026 12:23 pm Have not looked but other than being Pete's Son, what credentials did he have for getting the OL Coach gig?
I’m no expert on Miami Dolphins DC Sean Duggan. Maybe that’s his bag. Usually though, it means the Defense has no fear of the long ball.

When you’re ready Mendo, a nation awaits.
A nation turns its lonely eyes to you, woo hoo hoo
DiMaggio went to his grave never understanding those lyrics. But then again Joe never had a sense of humor or could take someone being less than ultimately complementary of him.

It's what being a fan is all about. Washington has potential and is average 5.9 yards per carry with thew limited opportunities that he has had, mranquales wrote: Sat Sep 19, 2026 1:46 pmIt's interesting to see everyone's attitudes towards Washington completely flip. Now all of a sudden, he's not talented enough to get a dozen carries and close out a game.
Now you can't "play aggressive" with Mike Washington as your 4th quarter RB.
In preseason, Mike Washington was an underrated monster that needed to split carries with Jeanty 50/50. Now he can't give a Jeanty a breather.
