New coach ………. Again

What’s your thoughts? I prefer young offensive minded with a fresh DC. Kubiak, Cooter, Kafka and pair them with someone like Al Harris as the DC.

Nobody overestimated shit. Pete inherited a bad team and made it worse. Probably the worst in franchise history. Nuff said.

Or we overestimated Pete's ability to form a competent staff and his ability as a hc

Nuff said like your word is final.
Yea no.
If we pick first and draft Mendoza, on draft day you should consider maybe this was a very successful year.
But come draft day I know you rather have finished 8-8 and selected 16th because that would've shown progress.
You must be with the we dont need a franchise QB crowd.
Pete got his RB.
Now hes going to get his QB.
Let Pete build the team.

Compared to your word it is final. I have more credibility in my left pinky than you have in total. So you and whoever else wants to keep Pete can head over to your little island and discuss how things could of been.

I think it's a lot closer than you think. The 2006 team was at least expected to be bad. And that team honestly had a better defense. Granted the offense was worse.

I disagree. At best it's a tie. I think this team might be slightly worse.

What I want is a Coach who actually already has head coaching experience...what I don't want is luring some successful team's OC/DC with faint hopes of them somehow miraculously leading us to where we want to be.

Well...... we have that right now. How is that working out? What coach with head coaching experience would you want..... and why would it be any different than what we have now?

Hire another re-tread? Brilliant strategy
There are no Payton Ried or Harbaughs out there
Johnson an Coen doing fine!

Gotta find the right guy

Yeah,... let's just stick with Petey. No, what we have right is a coach who should have never been hired in the first place. He was hired because someone evidently believed he was still that same person he was 10-20 years ago.

And if it is no different than what we have now, why bother replacing PC at all. I want a coach who already has head coaching experience instead of someone who does not and will have to learn on the fly...is that what you want?

Who used the term "retread"?...that would be you, not me.

And "gotta find the right guy"?...really?...that's your answer?...you criticize my thought but offer no "brilliant strategy" of your own?...again, really ?
