I was wondering the same. Maybe he and Brady are the road interviewing coaching candidates.BG3428 wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 3:39 pm The most interesting part is he’s not on the sideline with his teammates. Looks like Bowers is.
Clearly he’s pissed or there was a decision/agreement.

Nah. He was questionable all week so clearly not healthy. Yes he probably could’ve played through the injury, but what does that serve when the games are meaningless? This happens every year with tanking teams, sitting starters that are banged up that could play. And every year pros act like pros and do what’s for the best of the team. I don’t know why Max thinks that he’s special.Jeevo wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 1:14 pm Being pissed at sitting when you’re clearly healthy enough to play doesn’t bother me at all. Guys like Crosby are driven and it goes against everything they believe in. Posting a video that is meant to make the team look bad does bother me.

What would have been best for the team is him to put his ego aside & nut up, and be on the sideline cheering his team on & not pulling a no-show Carr!heavyD wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 5:58 pm Nah. Fellas, we're talking about an egotistical idiot that threatened to request a trade if we didn't hire Pierce. What does everyone expect from this clown? Like I've stated a million times, the dude should of been traded last offseason.

Seeing how bad the defense was without Crosby in there makes me wonder about his leadership ability. If all hes doing is masking everyone elses mistakes then how is that being a leader? Its like doing other peoples homework for them, and then they fail the weekly test. I also have a problem with his leadership abilty when it comes to all the crazy shit that ends up spiraling out of control in the locker room. A leader isnt just a popular guy in the locker room, its a guy who will go to the coach and tell them some guys causing a problem for the other players, perhaps dont give him a new extension. Crosby definitely is not that guy to do that.
He rubs me the wrong way so maybe im just biased against him also.

I'm kinda there with you. Maxx has a big head. It's not his fault. It's this organization's/Mark's fault. I love the guy as a player...... he's just too big for his britches at this point. I woulden't mind trading him in the off season.rich72 wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 6:57 pm Seeing how bad the defense was without Crosby in there makes me wonder about his leadership ability. I've been a bit busy... but has anyone heard any actual quotes or statements from Maxx himself?

Glazer is straight up a Maxx mouthpiece, and the IG posts from Maxx are pretty much the only concrete stuff we have.raidersince63 wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 4:48 am I've been a bit busy... but has anyone heard any actual quotes or statements from Maxx himself?

Exactly the truth. Doofus is the source of the last 15 years of dysfunction. He is an easily impressed child and has been constantly taken advantage of.Dr Death wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 7:58 pm I'm kinda there with you. Maxx has a big head. It's not his fault. Maxx, thank you, and f[raiders_icon]ck off as well. Be a football player, not a self-absorbed “personality”.
I can only hope Spytek uses the draft picks well. The one’s we get from trading Maxx to Washington.

Bowers being on the sidelines while Maxx was shitposting on Instagram about wanting to play is a bad look. Between that and the way he carried himself during Pierce's hiring process, I can't wash the bad taste out of my mouth. Simply put, we shipped Khalil Mack off for less and he's never carried himself that way in his entire career. At 28 years old Maxx's trade value is at the highest it will ever be, and I'm all in on moving him now.
With a rookie QB, we're no longer on Maxx's timeline, but the rookie's. I'm not interested in waiting for Maxx to be fed up and force a trade in a situation that reduces any type of incoming trade compensation. Trade him now, this offseason. Use the resources to ensure the rookie QB is surrounded with talent. We don't need that type of ego in the locker room during a rebuild.

Thanx...I'd still like to get it from the horse's mouth before I decide how I feel about the whole thing.JRaider17 wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 7:10 am Glazer is straight up a Maxx mouthpiece, and the IG posts from Maxx are pretty much the only concrete stuff we have.

I would agree with previous poster...I want to hear what Maxx says and how the messages were communicated with him about the situation.
This to me really depends on perspective....If I'm the Raiders, it makes sense and is best future valuewise.
If' I'm Maxx, I'm sick of the excuses and I want to play and win!
The reality is that it may be in both parties interest at this time to move on. The question there is does Maxx want to leave now and what truly can the Raiders get for him?

Quick fix is to make the draft a lottery like the NBA and NHL. If you're telling teams if you are the worst we will give you the #1 pick, their is no sense in a team who has a shot at said pick to even try to win.Toast wrote: Fri Dec 26, 2025 4:46 pm I asked this in another thread and will ask it again. If the NFL was so concerned with teams fighting to the bitter end; why allow teams to rest key players prior to the playoffs when they have clinched what their matchups? Certainly some of those games still have implications and certainly the team that does this isn't punching their weight.
