Well he's not Jamis Winston ... But he's also not Gardener Minshew.

21 touchdowns and 15 picks last year and 35 years old.
All this for a 3rd round pick. Stupid.
I suppose it depend on which QB we draft.... if we draft one. I sure hope we draft one of them.
I would be shocked if we didn’t, I think we are taking one for sure but it might not happen till the 3rd. We will get day 1 starters at 6 and 37 and then go qb in the 3rd imo.
The people who think Geno Smith is better than AOC are the same people who thought Minshew was better, when the reality ended up being Minshew just played on a better team that had a similar record without him.
The result will end up being the same here.
This is the correct take.
AOC will outplay him in camp.
Only question is whether Pete will play him over the guy he paid.
In typical Raider fashion, there are some justifying this but you all know damn well that if this was any team in our division, y'all would be laughing your asses off. For once I beg of you, take the blinders off and you will see that this is a HORRIFIC move.
You act as if Joe Montanya was out there for us. How about we're more level headed than what you give us credit for? Notice no one is straight up rejoicing either. We're simply not shitting on it, why? Because he could just be a good QB for us for a period of time. We'll see. Plenty of time for you to be right and gloat for whatever forum points are worth currently on the market.
I'm not getting off my couch and making up a sign and hitting the streets tonight.

I didn't expect this but it's an upgrade at QB by a big margin. I don't care about age, he's likely going to play better than Darnold this season. The third rounder plus a new contract doesn't thrill me - I'm good with one of the other but not thrilled with both. But I'll wait and see what the terms end up looking like before freaking out. We still need to draft a QB.

Don’t like the move one bit. However, he’s a Raider now, so welcome aboard. He was definitely a late bloomer so let’s hope he improves under Kelly. Now let’s get another IOL or two and a legit RB.
