His 'last' year? What about all the other damn years?
Right?
He looked the same last year as he did the five years previous; a few complete games, some fine moments, lots of mediocrity, and long stretches of looking lost in the wilderness.
For $20,000,000 a year; to work 8 months out of the year, this motherf[raiders_icon]cker* actually admits to half-assing it?
Too bad The Thumb can't ask for a refund.
*To quote Tom Brady (for historical purposes)

Get your shit together mods and trash this bullshit.
since he is talking about his time as a Raider, this is appropriate not only to discuss but in the main forum. What he said is suggestive of why we lost a few games.
that said, he needs to shut the f[raiders_icon]ck up and move on. Weare doing our best to do so, he should too.

I gotta admit the comments he just threw out are not cool. A QB and a leader does not phone in his job and make yet another excuse (personal matter) which basically tells his team he quit on them. If he were not dealing his best, he should have benched himself.
The fans of the player should really think on his words. This is not a guy worth picking the player over a team. I actually now believe the entire roster will elevate itself knowing that the secretive sabataging of the team by the QB is over.

No, that was his best. It matches all the other seasons of above average yards, below average TDs and a losing record.
Don't believe the bull shit he and his brother are spreading on the NFL in order to secure 100 million dollar plus contracts.
What a scam but itz working like a charm. Selling hope to the hopeless
"Lets get it"
"Lets get to work"
"Lets go"

Him and his flock deserve every second of it. Are you forgetting all the crying they did when there was s year remaining on his contract? He was begging like he was Tiny Tim, all to repay us with a(nother) sh^tty season and a benching.

He had weathered so many times when it would have made sense to see him gone. I am actually surprised he agreed to a contract that was so easy to get out from under. He was betting on himself foolishly. He was never a great student of the game and took his sweet time to learn a new system. You would think after so many times he would have improved that skill. It appears the Saints are not taking a chance on that again so they are installing basically the Gruden system so his learning curve issues are eliminated.
I read a lot that McDaniels is the reason for our second half failures, but the gameplans, while head shakers at time, were poorly executed at QB. There is little doubt that they were challenging his skills trying to see what they had, and at the end of the day, they realized they had a flawed QB.
That being said, I expect him to have a fairly good season in New Orleans. That is what he does, he gets a statistically good season in, no matter what the record is, which creates discussion of the various levels of how great or not great he is.
I wish the Saints fans luck, he will be just good enough to get them a playoff berth but not much more. Allen is an above average defensive mind and will ensure that level of success.

Get your shit together mods and trash this bullshit.
Nah.
I would argue this thread is very relevant. The guy was here for 9 years at the single most important position on the team. We gotta see how we did him wrong over the next, say, 3-4 season? Surely he will hoist the Lombardi and make our organization look foolish for offing him?

Since the QB touches the ball the most...I forgot thanks
you are probably the most bi polar poster around here.
if you touch the ball the most, you bear the most responsibility for the results. If you cannot grasp that simple concept, nobody can help you.
