I get the raiders gave him the contract.
I get he can decline any trade due to his clause.

What aggravates me is, why even take the trip to New Orleans if he had no intentions of waiving it. I find that disingenuous. The only reasonable explanation is, he was discussing his future there AFTER he gets released.

I also think it’s hilarious he thinks he’s been wronged by us. Too bad he couldnt go to a division rival so we could play him twice a year.

I'm sure there was No illegal tampering going on.
Lmao the RAIDERS are the ones who gave him the contract. No one had a gun to they’re heads. Stupid is what Stupid does and this team is run by morons! Okay Carr’s gone now what’s the plan? LOL!
It was a good contract for the Raiders. The raiders lost minimal dead cap money & gained $35 mill in cap room. It would have been disastrous had the guaranteed component been much more without a No Trade clause. One could have still traded the contract but the dead cap hit would be much higher. Carr without a no-trade wouldn't have yielded anything better than a 2nd rounder but may have cost us $20 mill in dead cap.

Will be curious if he does sign with the Saints?
. If he does the NFL should be going for tampering. How so?

Yes we let him talk to them, but now he balks? Can’t convince band they did not agree to something then decided to wait until afterwards.

Ocho Cinco just did an interview were he talked about buying fake jewelry, flying economy his whole career and living at the field house during training camp (so he didn't have to pay rent).

If they host him, but don’t trade for him, they can’t sign him if he gets cut (without still compassionating us).

If they host him, no one from their organization can discuss Carr with anyone from a different organization (otherwise they need to compassionate us)…
Wow carr is a f[raiders_icon]ckface. He fleeced this team for 9 years, giving half ass effort on the field, then makes sure they wont get anything for a trade. What a little bitch.
Seriously, were you expecting anything less? The Carr's family are not going to take a paycut for the Raiders and since the team is giving him the $30 million, the family is being petty about it. The Carr family like money more than god in my opinion. Its all Mark Davis fault for keeping Carr so long, bowl cut haircut equals bowl bowl Raiders results.

Can we please shut down the Carr thread & forget about him? Let's talk about the team that we will have in 2023-24.
