Because instilling the right culture is an important consideration to me. Knowing that that incident was the tipping point would show the type of culture they want -- one where no one is above the rules. And it wouldnt surprise me if that played a part given that Brady played for a very disciplined organization and he and his protege, Spytek, are now in charge.BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 8:17 pm Why do you need to know? We'll likely never know the truth. The right move was made. That's all I give a f[raiders_icon]ck about.

This is exactly how you ignite a rebuild. Props to everyone involved.

Or Lamar goes down and we get a top 10 pick..........DrDUne wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 8:46 pm And now we root against the 2026 Ravens on a weekly basis. I would imagine, if they can stay healthy, that 2027 pick will be somewhere in the 20’s.

Lamar is extremely over rated. A good player, yes. But over rated. Their offensive line is rough at this point with minimal cap to fix it. That doesn't help a Lamar who hasn't been able to stay available. They have been an extremely undisciplined team and they have been major chokers. We'll see if Harbaugh was a meh coach or not. Minter runs a legit scheme. I'll say that. If Burrow stays healthy (big if also) I would bet on the Bengals taking that division. By far the best QB in that division. He's money with Chase & HigginsDrDUne wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 8:46 pm And now we root against the 2026 Ravens on a weekly basis. The trade also has to do with what team is on thier way down.
I expect to pick in the top 15 next year also.

Not to mention their coaching staff is shit compared to what it was.Goodtimes333 wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 9:00 pm Lamar is extremely over rated. A good player, yes. But over rated. Perhaps, but he does win regular season games when he’s on the field. Just checked and his regular season record is 76-31.Goodtimes333 wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 9:00 pm Lamar is extremely over rated. Lamar is an elite QB. You don’t go 41TD/4 INT by accident.
His “down” year is still better than 3/4 of the league. Let’s be realistic here. I expect the ravens to bounce back. Things got stale and they made a change at HC. We’ve seen teams get completely rejuvenated after a team is a piece or two away and a fresh coach change
Now they just need a real no1 receiver, which Lamar has never had, and they are in business.

***EXCELLENT*** trade.
thank you maxx for your service to raider nation and your perpetual motor. unlike cle and tyree, you not only lived up to your potential, you exceeded it. good luck to you [unless playing the raiders].
draft after fernando at #1...sit until #14, and if ol vega ioane isn't there, TRADE OUT.
a base of good young players on rookie contracts...[fernando, ioane, jpj, jeanty, bowers]...let the rebuild commence.

He wouldnt know what to do with a top receiver even if they could get one. Which they can't. He cannot play within structure or rhythm of an offense. He hangs onto the ball. They're going to lose Likely and Linderbaum. New OC and an unproven play caller OC. I do believe their defense will be very good. If injuries hit they're pretty well f[raiders_icon]cked for a team wanting to compete bigNoClapsPlease wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 9:34 pm Lamar is an elite QB. You don’t go 41TD/4 INT by accident.
