When do we think Mendoza might declare for the draft?

I wish he’d do it now. I know there’s no logical reason for him not to, and I haven’t heard a single person that believes he won’t, but it would be the biggest kick in the nuts possible for him not to declare for the draft this year. And I’m used to big kicks and the nuts in regards to my sports teams.

For conditioning?
They cannot show up until the rookie scheduled camp. There is a rookie symposium they attend and then a rookie camp. I believe it is in that order. And then they show up day one of actual camp.

I think that is all correct

I think his brother entering the portal was the smoking gun. Besides, I'm not sure a reason exists now for him to stay, after this year he had.

The Raiders can just kill the rumors by saying that they are drafting him and there will be no trade. But the NFL wants the publicity so they don't want teams to come out and say it.

He cannot be at the facility other than for a predraft workout and visit.

From the NFL website

The traditional deadline for underclassmen to submit a petition to the league is Jan. 14.
A deadline of Jan. 23 is exclusively for underclassmen on teams participating in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
