Oh jeez.
In the Family group texts, one of my brothers still carries the torch for Carr.
"He's MY QB!" I can almost see the tears in his eyes how he laments on the how DC's been done wrong.
It's the D... It's the Coaches... It's the Refs!

He won't even watch the QB School play by play breakdown.
So even in the east coast I live this BS outside of this forum.
Sorry.
 Facts. What made me stop and wonder if my house was bugged was when he said he is a bottom 10 QB. I've been saying that for a few years to an audience of boos. One thing people don't realize is that Gruden put an offense around him that was as QB friendly as one could hope for- quick reads, under C with the use of the FB, huge lineman, little pocket movement, etc.- he still didn't do much and still faded down the stretch.
Anyone with 2 eyes has been thinking that.
Not with two older douche bags for brother’s. I am 100% positive that David makes some of his coworkers cringe with the shit he spews on NFL network to protect Derek.
For sure.

When you think of all the fans on the forum that he makes cringe the impact is 10 fold for the player/coworkers who laid it all on the line...
He thinks that he is protecting Derek. The reality is that he has harmed Derek's ability to land his next job innumerably.
I think it goes further than that - I think David, and the rest of the family, coached the aversion to contact and the selfishness into his little brother. I'll give them credit for helping him become an NFL QB, but they also deserve blame for instilling a ceiling of mediocrity.

Who knows, maybe it was all about extending his career as long as possible and milking every dollar he could, and team success was always an afterthought. If that was the plan, they have been very successful.

I'm fairly certain that all of this nonsense is tainting any good feeling that he may have had with a few 'fans'

No way no how did he have the backing of the locker room.

I don’t expect much participation from the usual suspects.

Carr changing his stripes and leading a team to the promised land is a sick fantasy.

Anyone assuming #4 is suddenly going to lead a team to the promised land after watching him perform the last 9 seasons is delusional. No one is arguing his stats, but when it mattered most he disappeared particularly inside the red zone...

I can't feel sorry for anyone who made millions of dollars for doing absolutely nothing to help a team become successful...2 playoff appearances, first round losses and a terrible won/loss record, not exactly the stuff of legend.
