The reality is that he has harmed Derek's ability to land his next job innumerably. Every GM who thought well of Derek is now going to think that if a Coach were to bench Derek then his brother will go on the air & wax poetic about the Coach, GM & ownership. Winning Football games is a hard enough job, now who wants additional headaches on top of it? If Derek had any sense he would tell David & Darren to shut up & let his agent do the talking.

In the Family group texts, one of my brothers still carries the torch for Carr.
"He's MY QB!" I can almost see the tears in his eyes how he laments on the how DC's been done wrong.
It's the D... It's the Coaches... It's the Refs!

He won't even watch the QB School play by play breakdown.
So even in the east coast I live this BS outside of this forum.
